is tht text a pic or just a text? if text u have to click ON the text

it will only work when you really click on the word.. what i mean for example you click the center of alphabate 'O' then nothing will happen... this is what i experience before...

i have been samurizing for 2 weeks now and this is my work

my own config...just some Siruz sidebar and some clock PNG which i modified a bit...

hmm, so many sidebars... Your CPU is kinda suffering ... Why don't make it as static shortcuts? (like the one that you ask me about my shortcuts at the right side).

Thought where you get those meters ?

Its a text..and yeah, guess that's the only way..

Thanks for the advice, I have to resize the font and make it bigger, so it'll be easy to click on..

Using text as shortcut is a pain work, cuz you need to CLICK-THE-TEXT. Why don't you put 2 layers ? Text later at the buttom while another layer above, like this:

You put a Text-Object, set it to image, direct the image to a blank image (for example create a blank.png) ... then use the image layer as link instead.

This is what I do all the time ... btw:

im still trying to do shortcut...but still can get the links right...as i sadi, im a newbie here..

i forgot the sauce of my meters... maybe from Vista Sidebar package, its a clockface but i modded with numbers a bit.

for the docks..it is all autohide along with the menu bar...(it is just for showing u guys...)

somebody did asked me about my configs. i can give it to him but how? copy the whole skins and config files and send it thru email...i dont have a file hosting site

Export ur config file into a .sam file....then u can upload the rapidshare to let others download

I just started learning how to use samurize, but still dunno how to get things work, only can create out some simple stuff using the configure tools..

btw, all those stuff also download from samurize ? also how to open the package file ya ?

package files are normally .sam files. If you're using the latest samurize (1.64.3), you can just double click the .sam file, it will automatically export as a config file.

how do u make a sam file....if using rapidshare, do i need to open an account?

Added on January 21, 2008, 4:10 pmi just learn this thing like for 2 weekd and catching up.. if u wanna learn how to make configs, copy other configs and modified it with your own graphics giving that u r good in Photoshop skills.

after a few tries, you will manage to design the whole thing by yourself

anyone here knows what's the meter linkage to close a program? i'm planning to place an icon in my config which when i click on it, it will automatically close a running foobar2000. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Lucky i got some skill in photoshop, although not expert yet.. hehe

just take somebody's samurize config in the webbie. choose a simple one. then take the meter and change it to ur own...use photoshop to create a meter face or sidebars... u know what to do from there..but u must download the plugin pak for ur own good

it have almost all the dll files u need to do your samurizing...

Basiclly the Samurize interface is similiar with visual basic in term of OBJECT and OBJECT tweaking. So basiclly you put an object or background, which I usually make the whole wallpaper with buttons, etc on the wallpaper. THen simply in Samurize, I put the wallpaper as background adn then add in buttons, meters, etc.

But one problem about sharing config. Is there any easy way to adjust the shortcut link's directory? Means, I am using D drive as system drive, so much of the programe located at D instead of C. When my friend waht to use my config, they have to change all D to C...

So any easy way to solve that?

mind share ur modified aeroslider config with me??
