Actually dad give me a piece of land worth RM500K currently, 2~3 years ago was 200~300K only.
The measurement of land not too big currently planting Kelapa sawit, well not fruitful anymore..

I plan to sell this land, and invest a Condo in KL, and Open a Drinking+food shop inside shopping Nearby, of coz not fully use all 500K..

/k, any suggestion how to grow more money from 500K?

any new business man owned a new shop?

RM500K get a bank manyzer to open account for you.

Put in for 3 years first @ 6%. You cannot touch the money for 3 years. After 3 years got RM30K.

This was said by one of the OCBC manyzer 2 years back. Not sure still valid or not.

He told me minimum is RM500K.

Put in first get some money rolling. RM30K pocket money for 2 years.1

not a good idea, my land is producing Palm oil every month, 3 years Profit ( Minus labor) is more than RM30K for sure.

u already made a good investment ...keep that land as long as possible then baru sell


or if that land arent commercial land ..try to fork out own money to convert it then sell

My double storey house in PJ bought in 2007 was 380k, last month somebody bought the house 4 or 5 doors down is 800k already. Single storey in the same area my father bought in 1998 only 150k, my neighbour sold their house with little mods (extended back) for 370k.

the investment have many types as u all know, and how to do investment is different from types of investment.

and investment divided into : Low risk / Middle Risk / and High Risk

of coz low risk get small return in short time - but need longer period
high risk u can get big return in short period, but beware also Lost is Huge.

I understand my attitude, im the person that dont dare to risk in investment. THats why i choose properties? not sure man, this is what i know

500k isnt much. KL/PJ/Subang houses cost over 600K


u can try aqua farming, organics, etc.

no other investments can give that high yield. plus it has kelapa sawit already. can get more than 30k per year somemore

not bad.

location is at perak- a small kampong
measurement not very sure, but the current worth is 500K +/- so actually u can know how big by simple survey.

land is still the best investment you can have - low (or maybe none) maintenance but high price appreciation.

just loan from the bank using the land as collateral and use that to invest.

Don't sell. If that photo is representative of the trees in yr land, they need better fertilization. No too easy to tell from the pic, but it looks like 10-12 yr old palms and should have a productive life for at least 7-8 years more. Trunks are suffering from bottling, poor female:male inflorescence ratio. Find out the soil series of your land, and get the proper NPK+TE+B nutrients in.

Y dont you cleared up the land and build a futsal court? Ask a loan from a bank with ur land as a guarantor. Make sure you provide a 5yrs business plan and SME bank would be a best bet for starters.

I should appreciate for such knowledge. Are u Research on that field?
there are too much types of fertilizer suppliers around my kampong there,

but for palm oil most of the fertilizer come in solid/granules size. For the components like Magnesium, Potassium im not very specific into that. I've been quite a long time didnt go to the farm,

My relative bought kelapa sawit land inSg Siput cheap cheap,now that they are starting to produce fruits people offer one acre so good price. If he sells he'll be a multi-millionaire but still won't sell.

Property investors usually open a floating account. Buy house full payment,.. sell and profit top up into that account.
So 500K buy a house,.. account run 25 years loan. You pay full payment cash. no Interest on the account cos you dont owe the bank money.
Sell the house 750K after 1 year,.. you top up the floating account to 750K,.. find another house,.. repeat the cycle.
in 6 years,.. you can be millionaire....

Best advice so far is still make use of the land instead selling it. But it won't make a lot of money,.. If TS want to make money, there are professional trader which has been trading stock and forex for decade. Can definitely make more money than keep the land. The world best mutual fund, hedge fund, investment firm playing their game in financial market too

if location is really bad, the price may decrease over the years.
must choose the location carefully before invest into it, proper survey have to be done e.g. the building around, the ppl around, the shop around, traffic, social safety, housing nearby etc.
cannot say but then buy 1

keep the land

its rather stupid to sell a landed asset, to buy a property in the air, then rent it out.

its also equally as stupid to liquidate it, thetn put in other schemes

now as we speak, you have an appreciative asset, no maintenance cost, and low risk

why do stupid things wiht it?

TS, since you're not desperately in need of money, DON'T SELL the land. The price of land will always appreciate, even if the appreciation is slow. However, if you're lucky and the state/federal government were to decide to develop anywhere near your land, the value of the land will appreciate by a quantum leap.

A case in point - land near Batu Kawan, Penang's second bridge was transacted for about RM4 psf around 15 years ago. It's value now is more than RM30 psf.

So, keep your land and watch it grow.
