keep the land

its rather stupid to sell a landed asset, to buy a property in the air, then rent it out.

its also equally as stupid to liquidate it, thetn put in other schemes

now as we speak, you have an appreciative asset, no maintenance cost, and low risk

why do stupid things wiht it?

TS, since you're not desperately in need of money, DON'T SELL the land. The price of land will always appreciate, even if the appreciation is slow. However, if you're lucky and the state/federal government were to decide to develop anywhere near your land, the value of the land will appreciate by a quantum leap.

A case in point - land near Batu Kawan, Penang's second bridge was transacted for about RM4 psf around 15 years ago. It's value now is more than RM30 psf.

So, keep your land and watch it grow.
