I can confirm that the service can be use other than registered address. I just move from melaka to perak & didnt contact YES for address change & yet the device can be use. Already 2 days.

Bad network coverage in Melaka. I only use it on weekends.
The tower tends to go down during public holidays and tech would be sent to the area to fix in 3 or 4 days time.

Last CNY... it was blinking non stop.. I lodged a report via email and they replied with stupid network troubleshooting template.

Subscribing YES fiz was another stupid decision I made.
2 year contract is ridiculous.
If you stop subscribing and refuse to pay the bill. You will end up in CTOS with bad record.

Thank god Streamyx is coming to my Taman in few months time.

I will continue paying for remaining 14 months contract.

I will also disable the WPA key so anybody can use the connection for free or use it to download things that I don't need just to makes sure Yes/YTL have to pay for their upstream connection and international bandwidth.

I am a loser please don't follow my foot step.

It's a good step tho. Since you will still pay for the services even tho u not gonna use it, might as well utilize the bandwidth. Heck, setup hotspot system & advertise your product if u are seller.

Get a speedtest for a fews day.. Complain to CFM/SKMM, also attach report you do with YES.. If they can't provide a services as advertised you have the right to terminate the service. But just don't ignore the bill. Fight back and ask for cancellation.

Would like to know this as well.

In the past YES4G banned all VPNs outright.

Not sure about this time.

What's vpn we talking about? To bypass quota? That's maybe no working.

Normal vpn should be working, using ipsec n openvpn fine here. Normal usage, connecting to office n client.

YES4G-FIZ and YES4G-SPEEDZY are technically unlimited data liao. No throttling. Except if suddenly they implement 30GB usage, then of course jialat.

There are two kinds of VPN i'm looking for

A) VPN that can bypass 'site blocks', which I think you just answered, so I just need to find a good, reliable and cheap one. That includes torrenting.

B) VPN that will bypass the "speed limitation" of 1mbps and makes it go higher, say 2mbps, etc.

B) is against TOS and they will block you if they find out. Besides, it's just unfair to everyone else on.
