.. no equipment change except hypptv stb (checking)
.. activation within 48 hrs

even the tm point dealer says the package is very new, some people know, some don't.
says it's all very confusing for customers and themselves!

which tm point you go to? shah alam?
You just walk in to get the unifi30?

Terminate vip10 & signup new unifi30 or just upgrade?

Wow you're paying less for more speed. Applicable for anyone?

no, 169 is WITH basic hypp - the free ones that nobody wants.

no ruby, no tamil, no malay packs, nothing else.

careful... as usual unifi is very good with pricing differently with diff packages, diff places, discriminate like hell.

go talk to tm point, don't wait for call.

quasi monopoly can act tough, u know!

I have mine Unifi5-RM149 for 6 mth, seems like I shd go ask abt upgrading itto Unifi30? with extra RM169? right...hehe

if if u r still on contract, maybe not the same...

got a call and was told above wasn't quite valid, sorry! the usual tm/unifi confusion.

unifi30 base price is rm169. BUT... you must take at least 1 hypptv pack as a bundle, no choice.


unifi30 rm169
+ aneka or varnam rm30 = rm199
+ ruby rm40 = rm209
+ sports or mega (old pack for existing users) rm50= rm219
+ jumbo rm60 = rm229

+ 6% gst, of course.

30 mbps is nice!

Yeah.. This is bolehland. In addition to the cheaper packages,etc. Their terms of contract is just 12 months compared to the 24 months TM locked in duration. Monopoly!

what the monopoly is doing is basically give u more speed at same or higher price - possibly due to a myriad of complaints on price.

they will not let you hv same speed for lower price.
if they do that, they will hv a "mas" problem!

exactly... singapore was offering SGD 129 for 100mbps... ours still hoo hah with 10mbps... lousy...
