hmm... not sure what u hv.

newer models have updated firmwares, big memory, all new and big apps working, all is good.

i actually watch almost everything on android now, very little on atog or hypp.
*
yeap... but after tested so many for the past few years... nothing is stable permanently... usually, it works well initially... after 6 month, sure koyak doh.gif doh.gif

Maybe they purposely do not want to put in the list, scare of non MU fans saw it and they don't want to subscribe because TM is MU fan based subscription.

No, bro... I think hypptv are more for non MU fans... most of the MU games not available via their package doh.gif doh.gif

What model that you still have now? Maybe I can borrow from you if you are not using to test. Really missing my hypptv everywhere on the big screen.....
*
bro.. basically most channels no more available... that's why I dump aside... and that reseller wanted to purchase back with 1/2 price which I already agreed...
Btw... if you want to use hypptv on yr lcd... using yr phone app and connect to lcd will do... that's how I connect my astro on the go at the moment..

i have this:
https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/3201002/+520

actually, for a certain set of specs n price, i think they r all about the same; it's all about firmware upgrades, users sharing apps n seller support.

no upgrades, no seller support, nobody discussing.... likely it'll end up in the cabinet or trashbin. biggrin.gif

aotg... this one is interesting. aotg app tech is quite old, works only on old androids up to 4.2 jellybean, does not work on 4.4 kitkat!
don't wanna hijack this thread, back to hypptv... smile.gif
*
thanks, bro.. more or less the same with mine...

like u said... there's a big issue with aotg cuz it can support higher version of android for sure doh.gif doh.gif ... Then, I also need the vpn unblocker app like hola to watch singapore channel and netflix... well, nothing is perfect. Thanks again for the info...

Bck to hypptv thumbup.gif

Astro is milking the HK series addicted people. The WLT subscriptions so expensive. And Astro own the only right with tvb.
*
yeap, bro.. but, with current live streaming, it is so easy to get those HK series on the net (even the taiwan and singapore stuff too), be it android, windows or what soever.. I actually thought the only thing Astro left is sports pack (where they offered full coverage of almost all the 4 big league games).. Other than that, we can find everything on the net... And of course, thanks to the high speed provide by UNIFI thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

That's why they been try hard to stopping it from another angle, blocking some sites. Is funny many (if not all) of the series are free aired in HK, and we have pay so much here.
*
no way they can block it... I had been using it for so many years... so far so good... one block, another return.. another block, another return laugh.gif laugh.gif
In fact, if you don't mind some ads and some funny weird language , football online is everywhere too thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

Yup, but for old folks that are not IT savy will have to pick-up this new skill, or continue paying Astro. Lucky I am not a series fan, my HyppTV box not even switch on since 2011
*
nod.gif nod.gif agreed.. that's why I still paid for the bloody astro service for my old man in their hometown while I get FREE Astro on the go for myself with that package... My main concern is still on the sports... with hypptv sports pack + astro on the go, good enough on my side thumbup.gif

so true!

try helping someone who has never done cut and paste! laugh.gif
*
bro, that's why we need a proper andorid box to run Astro on the go without all the IT skills brows.gif brows.gif
But, so far, I found none that works... It's either too new for Astro On the go or it's too old to support others doh.gif doh.gif doh.gif

now that i read yr post again, i understand...

u r right - the old hypptv everywhere app works on android, but the new one does not!
i tried it on my androids 4.4 and 4.2 - both don't work, notice 300999.
i called unifi - person said dunno, waiting for callback but nothing so far.
person said officially hypptv works only up to android 4.1. laugh.gif
my best guess - hypptv downgraded the app to have less people using it. tongue.gif
*
hahahahahaha... maybe doh.gif doh.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

Bro,  I mean what is the app that allows you to connect your phone to the tv/lcd using hdmi cable. The app that allows to display what shows in your phone to the TV. Not the app like Astro on the go or hypptv Everywhere. Thanks
*
nothing , bro..no app is needed... Once connected through hdmi, the whole phone or tablet will be transform direct to your lcd... in another words, your phone / tablet will appear in yr lcd... In my case, I am using samsung note 3 as phone and samsung note pro as tablet... both can be connect direct to lcd... hope it helps icon_idea.gif

What is difference in the Supersport? You mean that there will be no Champions league? sad.gif

I tried to google the channel list, but could not get a good orientation which exactly I should consider as in this package.
*
champions league are covered in other sports channels in sports pack... not the two astro channels that include in the pack
