mangotv is one of the difficult ones to get smoothly all the time. u wil hv better luck with hitv and pudding.

with that unifi problem now, all china sites become hard to access.

problem does not apply to european or north american sites.

problem does not apply to streamyx or maxis.

use of vpn will work but you will hv to pay, and may not be very reliable also.

I just got my Q16 box today... I have problem connecting via Ethernet. Wifi ok.

Ethernet do not need any setting if you use DHCP and your internet router is DHCP ready.

Just pmed you my whatsapp number, please text me such that I ciuld understand your problem. If you could have a laptop ready, I could remote to your router.

If you use static IP address, pls double your subnet mask and ensure no IP conflict.

good news for you and others.

"unifi monthly period" problem is just over for now. u can now access all of it nicely - hitv, pudding, vst, togic, mangtv - all good.

but based on past 6 months history, the problem will return in a few weeks... again n again... until 1 of 2 things happen: either unifi china site users cancel unifi and switch isp to maxis or time, etc... or unifi pays more $ to purchase more china traffic bandwidth.

meanwhile, while it is good, unifi subscribers please enjoy it to the full for a month or so before the shix returns.

i just watched the pilot of a new tv series in hd on mangotv, v good.

if u like chinese mythology incl 封神榜, 哪吒, 二郎神, etc., this is good - good cgi/special effects. can clearly see the chinese is busy catching up with hollywood tech for movies and tv series.

My problem as been solved. After i unplug the LAN cable from HyppTv box to HiMedia Q16, I did not unplug the LAN of theTM router box (Maintain in RED as in picture)So it only detect WIFI and not Ethernet.

Only after I switch the LAN cable to BLUE COLOR port THE Android box auto detect the Ethernet.

So far the box is very impressive to me as a newbie. MELE Airplay Mouse also very user friendly. Last but not the least, the seller (nicety) very helpful. Even assist me via Whatapps.

For new Android box buyer who intend to make use your box for IPTV, get your Android Box here. While the IPTV account can be purchased separately from 3rd party seller, or directly from IPTV service provider So far my IPTV run well (based on my VIP5 UniFi)

that was the mistake. anyway, u got it now.

for new users, the android q16 is connected via ethernet just like yr pc or other devices. nothing to do with hypptv box.

generally, the cables:

fiber-> btu (modem)
modem-> router, voip phone
router->pc, android, hypptv stb (a fixed slot), etc.

the (wireless) router also serves all wifi connected devices, incl the android if that is desired.

Bro, please share with me why you want Q16 detect your phone? Which app you use to detect your phone?

If you mean the reserve your phone could not detect your Q16 via HiControl or Hishare or AirPlay, pls share me the screen of your phone. Pls temporary disable your 3G before you test.

To be honest, if your ISP intentionally throttled your Internet, this is beyond your control no matter what hardware you use. However if you subscribed to iptv, maybe you could inform the iptv provider to switch to another content server to avoid the throttled.

By the way, I do not sell iptv service, my advise is base on feedback from customers. I have few nice customers that some time share with me when they found good stuff. Among the common provider, seasontv is better among all, cloudtv is not as user friendly but it allow monthly subscription. HDTV apk is randomly crashed which I do not recommend.
