QUOTE(mat79 @ Sep 3 2013, 06:25 PM) i think he mean interior space, not boot space Yup, interior space also acceptable (spacious and comfy) for me.. But like I said in my review, you have to take it with a pinch (or fist...hehe) of salt as I haven't driven many contis/japs/koreans to give it a fair assessment. At the end of the day most reviews you read are based on the reviewers relative comparison with other makes. QUOTE(abot84 @ Sep 3 2013, 11:22 AM) Btw, weird thing happened when I was inspecting the car at the dealer. Had the boot and hood opened and the engine was running. When I half-shut the driver's door, the central lock was activated. Luckily the boot was opened, my SA had to climb in from the boot to open a rear passenger's door (both keys were in the car). He's not sure why the central lock was activated. Is this normal? If it's a standard BCM/safety function what's the logic behind it? Btw bro mat, you have any idea what happened here? Whether it's a safety function or a bug?

I've seen the red and the blue one. I have not seen the other colours. Black, silver and white. Are there any current proton cars which use the same colour? I want to see the colour for myself. Leaning towards red colour ATM. Have not seen the other 3 colours in the flesh though. Which one is nice colour aside from blue? Black colour here: http://funtasticko.net/jom-jawab-survey-ini/White here: http://funtasticko.net/panas-lagi-foto-pro...chp3-22a-bocor/http://www.arenakereta.com/2013/08/18/prot...hingga-rm79638/Silver? http://www.arenakereta.com/2013/08/19/berb...oton-suprima-s/All pics: http://paultan.org/2013/08/28/driven-proto..._s_review_-105/This post has been edited by mystvearn: Sep 3 2013, 10:01 PM

Proton’s share stood at 20.7 per cent after it sold 64,782 units in the January-June period, as TIV rose four per cent year-on-year to 313,488 units. Among other big players, Toyota fell to 14 per cent with 43,747 units sold. Nissan improved massively from a 5.8 per cent share over full-year 2012 to 8.4 per cent halfway through 2013 and Honda rose from 5.6 per cent to seven per cent. Last month, Proton improved its market share to about 25 per cent after selling 16,000 units as the market reached a level unseen in four years. QUOTE(ruffstuff @ Sep 3 2013, 06:26 PM) I dont think it's confusing. They wanted a new name for first Proton C hatchback model. The Suprima name can be reused for C hatchback line up in future. I think it is a good thing for Proton to trademark as many name as possible, since they are very new and lack of models. New models is an opportunity to trademark new name. With the current trend of proton's naming convention, I highly doubt they will reuse the name.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ln8YCypS4jctheir TVC... old-fashion! reminds me of Proton Iswara Ads in 1993 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7v-RfWq1BpEAfter a great 20 years.. Their TVC still look quite the same.... Difference include the Malay song had changed to English song.. And the car - 1 is Iswara, 1 is Suprima.. The concept, still the same.. I doubt any other automobile company still making TVC in such a way in 2013!!

You cannot call it a trend, when the company is having few line up in the first place. Lot of company in the early stage experimenting with names and trademarks. Not much cycle of model replacement on the same segment, they still finding the brand image. It is normal.

They need someone fresh. Lot of marketing can be done for suprima s, and not only that their marketing department should spend some money for brand image campaign. Advertise your effort on improving after sales service.

TVC they made it very old-sylish and keep low profile like that but on radio ... it is like exaggerate promoting the car haha... This post has been edited by kevintth: Sep 4 2013, 09:41 AM

Yesterday saw a BMW tailgating a white suprima S on the highway. To my surprise BMW unable overtake that suprima S.
It look great at night by just looking at that suprima S CCFL brake light. At first I taught BMW and Audi.
Great job proton..... even now BMW driver will try to tailgate your car. Last time those BMW won't even want to overtake a proton cause they know it worthless to do that.

Even when i was tailgating a car to get him off the fast lane i hardly overtake them, cause its dangerous and signalling them to move aside is always a better option. Unless, I encounter stubborn ones. This post has been edited by dtna7: Sep 4 2013, 01:41 PM

i think his not trolling, just mere opinion on observation.
my opinion, the beemer of course can overtake suprima anytime he wants, maybe he just want to know whether suprima can keep the pace. n maybe just to look closely suprima s arse :-).
how far beemer can leave suprima on straight line, depend on series. if m6,i think, only a blink of eyes, then xnampak dah :-)
