QUOTE(kabal82 @ Aug 24 2013, 07:49 PM) Lately not really that good. Quite stagnant. Perhaps you may want to consider AmAsia Pacific Equity Income URL: http://www.fundsupermart.com.my/main/resea...?articleNo=3686 |

QUOTE(gark @ Aug 24 2013, 10:37 AM) It is just the reality of whats happening... it might be just a small bump or massive bloodshed, it is too early to tell. But the market is still not really panicking yet. Sifu gark, do you do switching? Or you just buy in to increase your units ever since you invest in UT?Stay the course and buy on good valuation, but pace yourself so you don't run out of ammo. As an investor, you must stay the course, never get greedy and never give in to panic. I have not sold a single UT, but I am buying slowly... Heart must be steady... |

QUOTE(David83 @ Aug 25 2013, 12:32 AM) Replying to pisces, mainly what I think is above. There are too much uncertainty and that leads to the high volatility in the market now.I'm not like all the sifu here, I just bought in a fund as I believe in the low valuation now. In the event where UK wrong, I'll just top up to average down. UT is for long term.. |

QUOTE(Kaka23 @ Aug 25 2013, 01:03 AM) That is alot, this few days sure your portfolio suffer alot because AmDynamic has been dropping 3-4 days in a row... No worries, still in the green I used to be 100% le. Manage to lower it down to 60%. But I guess it will be always high and it's the only bond fund I'll ever buy. What's your equity/bond %? One of the most common questions financial TV hosts ask their guests is whether they expect a pullback or a crash to hit the market. It's an odd question, akin to asking whether they expect summer to occur. Of course summer will occur, and of course stocks will pull back. Since 1928, the S&P 500 has declined 10% or more from a recent high 89 times, or about once every 11 months, with just a handful of years escaping a 10% dip. Ten-percent pullbacks are almost as common as summers. Twenty-percent market drops have occurred 21 times since 1928, (< 4 yrs once) or about as often as presidential elections. But investing is emotional and the allure of money makes us delusional, so we train ourselves to both think the market doesn't (or shouldn't) crash from time to time, and panic when it does. Hello, good evening everyone... how's your weekend so far? hope everything good
we're entering the final week for the promo for global funds. i've got some money to invest and yet I don't have global exposure in my portfolio yet, which global fund do you think it's okay? and sensible to enter now? I'm thinking of AGEF or OSK-UOB GEYF on the other hand, I'm thinking of buying a little of Hwang Select Asia (ex Jap) Quantum fund, do you think it is sensible to enter at such a high price? |
