hi..I'll be going for the PTD unggul 10 days course on 24/03.They stated in the ptdportal.com that u must wear white T shirts only. How about bright color shirts?yellow,greenish..something like that. Can anyone advise me on this.. biggrin.gif  biggrin.gif  biggrin.gif

T-shirts for Ur physical activities or Suaifizikal as they call it, must be white only. Stripes at the collar or sleeves are acceptable, but if possible, must be all white. bright colors, definitely cannot. Where's Ur Unggul ?

Need help..... Anyone ever heard M41 contract? I do heard N41 contract but not for M41. Tq

I dunno if this info is classified or anything, but what the heck. Contract officers are of gred N41. There's no M41 contract. Once Ur M means Ur part of the scheme already. Nowadays, to prevent backlog of intake (which is done by SPA), ministries are allowed to do their own interviews for M41 officers, but they must take contract officers from the current N41 pool. Got it ? Some of the N41s (like the last intake) can be absorbed into M41 quite easily, U just need to go for interview. Previous N41s had to go through the whole intake process all over again (exam, PAC, interview). They're making it easier nowadays, but U must perform la to be recommended.

For 24/3 Unggul, it'll be held at INTIM.

Btw Tenno, starting from this new batch intake, there's M41 contracts + the permanent ones. They must perform in order to be permanent after 1 year IINM.

I think it's been like that since the last intake, that is two intakes after my DPA. Some of them (contract ones) was called for interview after only 3 months in service (by recommendation from bosses, & JPA) & after they're offered permanent posts, they will go for DPA, etc. Some of them wasn't so lucky.

But Tenno, the M41 contracts for this new intake are being offered as M41 not as N41 scheme. The only difference is that whether they're contracts or permanent.

So there is still a chance to be a permanent. Few days ago,i inquired from my PTD fren, he told me that this for post to be permanent (M41 contract) there are 3 requirements; 1st,need to be in service for more than 1 year, 2nd, got "sokongan" from the boss, and will be interviewed, 3rd, i forgot. However he told me that he never saw any M41 contract that being permanent yet. I don't want to take any risk as right now, i got a permanent job, so i don't want to risk my career. Anyhow, tq all 4 ur info. Cheers! biggrin.gif

Yup, there's still a chance to be permanent after 1 year. I think the another requirement is, you need to perform (your LNPT must be excellent). Actually there's already a lot of N41 contracts being converted to permanents. They just simply had to attend interviews and if they passed, they will be converted to M41 scheme. They just went to their own Unggul in January this year.

my fren who is a N41 (contract) could not be absorbed as she has not passed her exam.
she attended her exam about 4 years ago, didn't pass but was called interview and offered N41 post.
until now.

she said that the requirements are pass the exam, in service 3 years (contract), recommendation.
then they (the N41s) will be called for interview.
then only can be absorbed as M41.

i have another fren who has been absorbed as M41 from N41.

it's not a diplomatic officer per se.
it's a government officer scheme.
government hv IT officer, engineer, accountant etc.
PTD is M for management.
we manage the government.
some people say it's the elite scheme.. whistling.gif
we might work in many fields such as HR, policy maker, development, diplomat etc.
all the work that the government do..
so the name Pegawai Tadbir & Diplomatik / Administrative & Diplomatic Officer does not necessarily mean diplomat.

btw, any degree holder can apply.
no matter what course.

So only DEGREE can apply, how abt Administrative & Diplomatic Officer?????? How you guys apply for the position at Govm Dept? I think I'm interested it just that too bad I don't have DEGREE, my highest qualification is only HIGHER DIPLOMA. From your post, the job quite interesting.
