very hard to get M41.

what the classification to be PTD?? diploma?? degree???

guys,im sitting for PTD exam on 16/02 at seremban. a bit nervous tho.anyone care to share exam tips?to the seniors,ur help will be much appreciated. TQ

SPA also called me for the exam at IKIP kuantan.. i heard that 40000 candidates will seat this PTD exam on 16 feb.. and from 40K candidates, they will filter to take only the best 100 person for the post.. I' m not so sure about this info. this is what i've heard from my fren.. rite now i'm still searching a good sources as references to study as my preparation b4 i take the exm.. can anyone help me .. im eager to do my best for the exm

well also taking the exam on 16 feb...at emporer hotel melaka..not study anything..... anyone will seat exam in melaka?

Aku MOF la. Calon ade 150, yg dtg 60 je. Tp aku punya tak teruk la, ade satu pusat tu, calon 120, yg datang 8 orang je... kat KL aku rase...

Added on February 22, 2008, 4:33 pm100 ppl ? Nope. Every batch they will take at least 350 ppl. So, on average, it's top 1 percent for every batch. The exam, in my opinion, it's not that hard, really. It's just a filtering process. The second & third stage is much, much more difficult, but only if U can get past the 1st phase la....

i did seriously consider building a career on diplomatic service during high school ...

so need wat kind of degree to be a diplomatic officer?
and need to sit wat kind of exams?

any degree will do.

yup nowadays JPA insist much more than 350 will be choosen 4 each batch..my batch supposely 420, but at the end juz 380++ left..tat soon after the DPA ( the 6 months course ). anyway much more PTD will be hired..atleast until the end of 2009 as beginning 2010 they will be no more direct intake for the post as it will changing to 'cadet style' intake..you' ll b assess throughout whole year..tat much more 'sakit' ma...

These govern servant are consider the Pengawai kerajaan kumpulan pengurusan. Pengetua of secondary scn is one of the M41 level.

Let me just correct this a bit. Ur not wrong my friend, just slightly off je..

The public service has many schemes. These schemes is identified by the prefix letters, such as M, N, DG, S, F. M means Diplomatic & Administrative Service scheme (PTD), DG is for teachers, N is Administrative scheme, F is for Technology, UD is Medical scheme, & so on & so forth. Then the numbers that follows these letters shows what grade they're in, the higher the number means higher the grade. For example, M41 means Grade 41 in the Diplomatic & Administrative Service. PTD starts from M41 onwards. Doctors also starts from UD41.

Then, these grades (from 1-54) are divided into several groups so that we can identify them easily, for many purposes. There are 5 groups:

1. Kumpulan Sokongan 2 (Grades 1-16)
2. Kumpulan Sokongan 1 (Grades 17-40)
3. Kumpulan Pengurusan & Professional (Grades 41-54)
4. Kumpulan Pengurusan Tertinggi (JUSA & Turus)
5. Kumpulan Anggota Pentadbiran (Setiausaha Parlimen, Deputy Ministers & Ministers)

Hopefully these can shed some light on the Public service scheme.

hi..I'll be going for the PTD unggul 10 days course on 24/03.They stated in the ptdportal.com that u must wear white T shirts only.How about bright color shirts?yellow,greenish..something like that.Can anyone advise me on this..

Yeah i agree with it...be yourself...it value you by ur attitude..knowledge..common sense..everything..some part of the question doesn't have right or wrong answer..

Once ur gone through exam-interview-a week of valuation-took 6month course-interview again<<if not mistaken..then you got the dream job...the highest career prospect in the government sector..you may become District Officer, Pengarah in any gov department, Ambassador, Jusa. . . even if ur age not reach 30 if you became ptd in age of 23 with very good luck la.
