If Ur referring to Govt quarters, then Ur statement might not be so accurate. But then again, just go to Bahagian Pengurusan Hartanah in JPM, ask around la. The rental is not RM200, in fact, there's no rental at all. U just pay the bills, & they will deduct Ur housing allowance.
Hmm.. how am I gonna answer this
It's no secret that some, if not most of the non-contract PTD officer have expressed displeasure about the way some of the new contract officers are being hired. Reason being, they had to go thru 3 stages of interview process, some had to take the exam 5-6 times, maybe more. Even I had to go for interview twice. & now, the JPA simply pick their scholars & walk them right into the system. Even for us, there's been question about our lack of experience la, no knowledge la, itu la, ini la.. how do U think the new contract officers would fare ? Some of us have got good grades too, some are even masters holders. Why weren't we selected that way ? This is the govt, of course ppl will talk. Ppl have been talking about using cable la, sedara mara la.... now this is a fibre optic cable we're talking about here...
Having said that, I would say, the new contract officers, especially from JPA, have a LOT to prove. Being in MOF, I understand the reason the govt decided to open up the intake process that way. But believe me, we didn't see it coming, not from JPA. From SPA yes, but not from JPA. As for them not being in favour of senior officers, even some of us had to go thru that experience. We are working with ppl, not machines. Just imagine working under somebody, who's relative have had to go thru PTD exam 10 times, PAC 4 times, interview twice, but still not making it thru, & now here U are... We are all just human. Prove Urselves. Other ppl's weakness is not our strength. Some of the contract officers are good, some are not. I've seen it myself.
About the chances of being absorbed into permanent service, I've mentioned it many times before in this thread. Ade rezeki, then ade la. If not, then sorry la. It's Ur own choice, no one else's.
Sir, I beg to differ pertaining this matter. Not all of us want to be here, Not all of us are happy with this call by jpa, and I believe most of us were doing well themselves in the respective company. I'm myself, personally think that this is a downgrade period of me. but hey, sometimes you need to honor what you promised, and deliver what has been signed by you 4or 5 years ago, move on, sulk all things up and try to be positive and look forward to the future. Hmm.. how am I gonna answer this

Regarding senior officers not being able to accept the fact that we're jpa version, then f*** off and grow up. We do not choose to be here, we do not pick to be ptd. Some prefer to work things that related to what they have learned in school, to be engineer, acccountant, land broker and stuffs like that, but hey, who are we to decide, to argue with government decision pertaining this matter, because 5 years ago, we stupidly agreed to serve the government for any post given by the governemtn.
Again tenno, I'm not trying to piss anyone off, it's just probably our 'luck' to be here. Try to understand us and lets give the best service to the people.
Life is not about whining every single day, life is about moving on and pick things up.
