I've open spray paint shop since last February, got all the equipment i need for spray painting job. Now I was thinking about to expand my business to airbrush

my question is, do my current air compressor work fine for airbrush painting? it's SWAN 2.0hp, very similar with the compressor in attached picture

Yes. You can. Just get another regulator to reduce the air pressure. Airbrush need only 0.2-0.3 bar only.

You can DIY. An exhaust fan, a plastic container, cardboard and flex hose.

when looking for an air brush and compressor type, what sort of criteria do you look for in term of quality built, functionality , easy cleaning and maintenance?

I know there's a few suppliers in lelong didn't mentioned much about the brand and where it's made. Before i invest a lot of money into this , i like to know if my investment in getting a good one will save more in long term rather than invest cheap but faced with a lot of maintenance issue and the cost.

Sometimes cheap may not be that good, the mechanism won't last long or the technology is old. So i like to know from you guys if there's any thing that's is in the latest tech for air brush and compressor . thanks.
