Just got my Nexus 4 today, after scouting around a bit. Best prices I've seen for new 16GB sets:

AP set price: 990 (example Dark Devon is ordering from US, you can check out Garage sales)
Local set: 1150 (example DirectD)

I ended up getting a local set, simply because I wanted to be able to check the phone for defects when buying, and any warranty claims from LG will be simpler. DirectD really has good business, packed at 11am!!

Anyone get their Nexus 4 screen protector at Low Yat Plaza? I got a cheap one today (RM15), but i can already see it's coming off at the edges. Using a Ballistic Shell SG case, so I only need a (dry) protector for the screen. Recommendations please! smile.gif

For all things worth ... dont get SGP it get scratches easily ... and mine is peeling after 2 weeks of usage ...

I am planning to get Benks but havent decide which one to get yet ... here is the link to one of the screen protector. Let me know if you are interested and we can split the shipping cost smile.gif (planning to get from overseas)

Hopefully, Nexus 5 will have the same price as Nexus 4(original price/launching price).
So, it'll be highly affordable. tongue.gif smile.gif

One thing very weird...
My power button(previously was semi-broken, say, click many times only respond once) is now OK after using MIUI ROM.

What the heck is going on?

And, I would say those who have volume buttons or power buttons issue users should give MIUI ROM a try.

if you wanna keep your data, dont use the flash-all.sh / flash-all.bat.

instead, extract the image, flash it manually:

CODE
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot flash bootloader bootloader-mako-makoz20i.img
fastboot reboot-bootloader
fastboot flash radio radio-mako-m9615a-cefwmazm-2.0.1700.84.img
fastboot reboot-bootloader
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot format cache
fastboot reboot

It's really easy actually. Just install fastboot driver, download fastboot.exe from android sdk, plug in your Nexus 4 in fastboot mode, copy paste cowithgun's cmd command line by line. It's that easy biggrin.gif

But don't do anything wrong la else big problem biggrin.gif

Wait... Erm... That QX10 costs one Nexus 4. That QX100 costs two Nexus 4. You sure the logic is right? biggrin.gif

But this kind of investment is sort of worth it in long term. Since you can still use your phone camera when you didn't bring this external camera. Also can sort of "add-on" to get better image when you did bring them. It's future proof since it's compatible with both Android and iOS. You can change N phones yet still keep this camera.

But it's kinda expensive. Only good for those with extra money in their pocket.
