Nexus camera really that bad? Haha, can't wait to try it out.

Camera is too big is a complain? It's a very big positive if the lens is big, the bigger it is, the better the camera performance can be.

Especially with the recent rumor that this Nexus will have a Nikon branded lens.

I'm excited to find out how good is this Nexus's camera performance.

It could be a fail and disappointment, but it could also completely change the opinion of people regarding camera performance on Nexus phone, and the big lens is a good sign.

Are you sure? What kind of performance you are talking about? It will be nothing like aperture etc etc.

I'm not a camera pro, so I'm not going to pretend to be one. But basic logic tells you that the bigger the lens is the more light you can get into your sensor, hence better photos.

It is all depends on the quality of sensor and lens in the camera. Let's see during the launch.

I am using MIUI ROM meanwhile.
It's like ages since really using MIUI for real.

I have never said its bad,I just said I don't like it,what I meant by "you know nexus camera" is that I have experienced galaxy nexus and nexus s camera,and its not good,not the new nexus 5 which I haven't even experience yet

Don't you feel bore to keep on using the same UI all over again time to time?
Pure Google experiences(STOCK ROM) = NEVER MY LIKE. I always themed my frameworks(using ROM like CyanogenMOD, AOKP, PA, etc).

I like stock android. Can change wallpaper if I want to. Lol.

What's really get into my nerve is the fact that most custom ROM comes with deodex apk to allow customization.

With deodex apk, especially framework.jar, your phone boot slower, app load slower, all because you want easy customization.

With today's fast phone, you probably will not notice.

But I just don't like the idea of moving backward, Google invented optimized Dex (odex), but people remove it...

FYI, Custom ROMs are faster.

for me, custom rom not significantly faster. just bug fix and little performance.

Faster in other areas but still slower when loading odex compare to deodex.

The so-call faster mostly due to bionic/krait optimization. You can do that without customized ROM. I am on stock ROM, can get 25k 24k antutu score on 1.5ghz.

ps: sorry, 24k only.. err.. my point is, it's ok to use deodex ROM for customization, important to many people, but whenever u use it, bare in mind there is a tiny teeny bit of performance hit.
