My Nexus 4's power button is dying...
Now, it's like hell! When I push the power button, there's high chance it'll not respond(more than 50%).

I think I need to RMA(warranty) it soon.
Haiz... no spare phone to use meanwhile. Sad.

I think this is a trolling post. LOL.
I think I'll buy a Galaxy S4 as spare phone 1st, RM 1800 only. Not bad.

I lazy to wait too. And, I don't have any spare phone to use while waiting...

Nexus 4's buttons are lousy. Many users have reported the similar problem.
So, it's not our fault.

My Display have some backlight leaking too. Not sure if they'll fix it on the spot or not XD...

I think I am the very unlucky one, get an unit with a Backlight leaking problem(since the 1st day) and power button issue(after using a few months).

It's too big for my liking...
Moreover, the PPI sucks.

720p is OK for smaller devices like 4.x inches.
But, for like 5.x inches, it's too little already. Need 1080p at least.
Or else, I can see pixels flying around. I got Sharingan eyes.

I am using MIUI ROM meanwhile.
It's like ages since really using MIUI for real.

Don't you feel bore to keep on using the same UI all over again time to time?
Pure Google experiences(STOCK ROM) = NEVER MY LIKE. I always themed my frameworks(using ROM like CyanogenMOD, AOKP, PA, etc).

FYI, Custom ROMs are faster.

What I care is the customization and extra features.
The rest I won't bother much... If I am crazy for performance, I won't be with MIUI ROM.

Like you've said, Odexed is faster than Deodex but current generation phones already too fast and have no effect on whether the phone is odexed or deodexed.
So, what's the point for odex already?
Moreover, the bionic/krait optimization you mentioned is already build-in in Custom ROM. So, it'll be significant faster compared to pure stock ROM(unless, you modify it).

For the customization, original ROM is surely very limited. Custom ROM is way a lot!

FYI, Custom ROM can be odexed too. As I recall, there's an app for that.
Had done it way far during Galaxy S 1st generation. Placebo effects.

No significant performance boost or anything can be detected by human eyes or sense. It's only digital prints.
Current generation phones are too fast and too advance.
Don't bother.
But, there's an app for that.

Because in Malaysia, we usually pay more compared to other countries despite our earning rate is much lower than them.

Hopefully, Nexus 5 will have the same price as Nexus 4(original price/launching price).
So, it'll be highly affordable.

My power button(previously was semi-broken, say, click many times only respond once) is now OK after using MIUI ROM.

What the heck is going on?

And, I would say those who have volume buttons or power buttons issue users should give MIUI ROM a try.

Yea, MIUI ROM. Bored with CM, PA, AOSP, etc.

MIUI ROM from XDA(slightly modded by the author and have Franco kernel by default), not the Official MIUI Android Website.
It's still 4.2.2.
But, it does come with 4.3 Camera.
And, my power button is OK now with MIUI ROM. LOL.

I think it's because of 4.3 bug like @secret@ said?
