Since Tablet Z - Sony logo not printed at Shatter Sheet, I decide not stick any screen protector anymore. Once too scratch, I will pill off that Shatter Sheet.

As I damn hate SP.

Outdoor photo taken using Superior Auto Mode.

Bright Outdoor photo is awesome! Like it! biggrin.gif

* This time I don't see any over post processing issue. I find it actually taken better photo than Z, picture more in details, sharp and vivid.

Average 1.5MB, superior auto mode default to 7MP.

Also, I notice this Xperia Z Ultra can snap more closer macro than Z. biggrin.gif

This is on stamina mode. Why drain so much during 7 1/2 hours?
[attachmentid=3562667]

That is terrible. Is definitely your apps waking up the phone. Next time use app betterbatterystats to check the wakelocks
Actually for the xperia z phones the maximum I ever seen is most 1-2% drop over 7-9 hours
No need to install any battery saving app. 3g always on. I sometimes just have wifi n gps off only.
Mine on just after day 2 it hardly drops over /about 7 hours
2 days record here

I whitelist a few apps uncle like whatsapp, talkbox, viber, I'm gonna try again tonight without whitelist and see any difference. I'm surprised by the drain too much worse than my note 2

Thorus set warranty can be processed at Sony Centers ? I have no experience dealing in warranty for Sony stuffs yet.  If so no difference getting it n at cheaper price
*
Not sure about this. I believe what's important for authorized set warranty is more on the claim time, rather than whether there are problems on making claims.

If you peel off the shatter sheet, will it look horrible? I mean will there be marks on the phone? But then again, under the shatter sheet is not Gorilla Glass, so probably the layer underneath is also quite fragile? hmm.gif

natural glass is hard enough, and if im not mistaken, dragontrail glass is used, and is as strong as corning's gorilla glass (more or less).

No SP yet. Will get one on my next trip to KL or will look for one at ebay/garage sales
Never believe in spending too much money on such SP stuffs - budget will be less than RM50

After snap outdoor, I am quite satisfied with it, yesterday indoor just ok only, tonight maybe snap some low light.

As I know can clean up after peel off Shatter Sheet, won't be any mark after clean. Underneath that glass is scratch resistance.

Here accumulate my simple small review.
  • Build Quality: Damn solid! obvious better than Z.
  • Screen Panel: The best I ever seen so far, no more viewing angle issue. Equal or even better than HTC One.
  • Loud Speaker: Slightly better than Z but still too soft.
  • Performance: Snapdragon 800 & Adreno 330 really is monster! wow! Awesome performance! Heavy 3D games had no issue playback smoothly even turn on the 4xAA at Developer options. Example games I test out include Real Racing & Despicable Me.
  • Interface: Currently same as Z one, it is old UI, not the new one as advertise during press. They is no X-Reality support yet, and also cannot open more than one Small Apps. The stylus input is kind of gimmick also for now, not as seen at press where can use everywhere.
