One thing I'm curious, do you get people staring at you one kind  when you answer the phone outside? Ie.. why is that fella holding a brick?

Or just no attention coz a lot of larger phones in the market nowadays?

of course people will stare, especially this sexy beast laugh.gif

Not sure about this. I believe what's important for authorized set warranty is more on the claim time, rather than whether there are problems on making claims.
Love that first photo bro! Very lovely blue sky. I find that this camera is quite impressive. Though we do need more low light shots. biggrin.gif
Uncle Benny, r u using any SP for your XZU now? Just don't know where to get one now.
If you peel off the shatter sheet, will it look horrible? I mean will there be marks on the phone? But then again, under the shatter sheet is not Gorilla Glass, so probably the layer underneath is also quite fragile?  hmm.gif

natural glass is hard enough, and if im not mistaken, dragontrail glass is used, and is as strong as corning's gorilla glass (more or less).

With the higher IP rating of the Ultra, I don't think it would pose a problem. The Z was marketed as "Water Resistant" whilst the Ultra as "Water Proof".
That looks pretty alright actually...especially for a phone. Though what uncle Benny said about taking photos outside kinda worries me.

How bout mamak or food joints like TR/Chillis/Friday's? Anyone can do a sample shot?
How do you mean? Water enters a waterproof device under the controlled conditions is not covered under warranty?

On a different note, anyone remember who posted the link about the V being lost at sea for a couple of days but it still worked? Even had footage of the whole thing. Happened in Japan iirc

LYN doesn't encourage multi quotes anymore huh? Had to separate this into two posts sweat.gif

it happened in china actually, someone dropped his xperia v in the sea while recording, and found it 4 days later and all functions are still intact.

Overall I am like it, Just the battery and the Flash only make me a little disappointed. I think it is better if the battery up to 4000mah like the huawei mate.

thickness is one concern, while weight is another, by increasing the volume, the weight will go up, which in a way would sacrifice more as a whole

just my 2 cent
