QUOTE(Candlenie @ Aug 13 2013, 04:34 PM) I was in your shoes when I was about to choose my first DSLR. My options were D3200, D5100, T4i or, T3i. I found that Canon is tad expensive just for the body only, at least in my area and that D3200's 24mp really made me think over and over for its cropping power. But, in the end I chose D5100 for the same sensor it has with D7000. It helps a lot with its noise control. Since D5200 is out, D5100 price really dropped. But that just me, other way of choosing your camera is go to the shop and test the camera out. See which one you like. In my opinion, using 3rd party lens is okay too. Of course, some lens will have less quality than the original maker, but barrel distortion, chromatic abbreviation problems etc? Don't worry about that. Most people will not pixel peeps. Only photographers do, and you wouldn't feel satisfied anyway, there will always something wrong with images, be it CA, noises, and focus if you pixel peep. Anyway guys, anyone know how much the price for close-up filter? I need at least +4. I usually check the price at Shashinki. But the price is really expensive, I wonder if it prove to be different at local shops. This post has been edited by copperwire93: Aug 13 2013, 10:03 PM |

QUOTE(leongkokloon @ Aug 13 2013, 08:41 PM) cant agree no more..... D90 its old but really good for beginners for that price... even some pros here use D90 but produce awesome shots D90 might be old, but it does have internal AF motor and also commander mode for flashes haha, that's why its still a hit with many (for its price la, of course haha)..If can afford, the D7000 is the one to go for QUOTE(piscesguy @ Aug 13 2013, 09:28 PM) if u use d7000 with 50mm 1.8d, u cannot justified the IQ yet. Must shoot with good lens..then u will know the "power". 50mm IQ is still much better than that of kitlens haha I remembered how astounded I was when I saw my 1st photos using the 50mm f1.8g as compared to my 18-105mm haha... things were never the same after that lol XD Very sharp after F2.8, still, post processing can handle the sharpness nowadays anyway haha |

It's the best among other 18-200 lenses. Almost or really identical with Canon.will gift feedback soon..that nikkor 18-200 vr will determind should i stay with nikon...or jump back... anyone here got that glass? I just can't afford it, hence I bought Sigma one, the first version. My first experience with wide focal range lens is, there are tremendous vignetting at the widest end. CA wouldn't be a problem with Nikkor I guess. Sigma's is noticeable, worse even on Tamron. |
