Basically, almost all Adidas gloves available in Malaysia is Replique versions, except for the Response, I've seen Response Pro in GS Gill. So, relaxla, the only thing Ur missing is the Climacool backhand & E6S. Have U seen next year's models ? U can check it out at Pro Direct Soccer's site.
On my performance on Saturday, I didn't like the way I played. Lately I've been making too many schoolboy errors, even in my afternoon games. Even my kampung team asked me what was wrong coz they just can't imagine my making those kind of mistakes. So many errors that I'm considering taking a break from football, completely. I think it has to do with my mental rather than physical abilities. But everytime I wanted to take a day off, my other side forces me to go to the field & try to correct things. & I haven't stopped playing, trying to remedy things a little at at time.
If U noticed Glozz, I used my Lotto during the 1st half & the Adidas in the 2nd half. Reason being, I haven't used the Lotto for quite sometime edi, & the grip was horrible. During the 1st half I was lucky there was no shots. When I got home I washed it & used it again yesterday. But although there was little improvement, it wasn't anywhere near perfect, like when I first got it. I thought maybe I've used too much soap during washing, so yesterday I washed it using water only. I'll have to wait until Saturday before I can test it again.
Let me know when U get those new gloves, would like to see 'em. Next time when we play, maybe we can warm-up together.
To be honest; I had that phase when I first re-started playing tourneys 'bout 5 months ago during my first 5 sessions even before training. I was too slow, not my usual self, dropping easy balls and even not diving fast enough or low enough.
I put it down to a couple of things. First; I had no real knowledge of my body's best start position. Thus I started all over again; found a body position which my body was comfortable with and which would supplement my reflexes. For me; that position is a forward crouch with knees bent, legs spread for comfort; 'bout 2 feet wide and feet with the heels off the ground and resting only on the ball of the feet. Tested numerous other positions before I found this one which is optimal for my body's stature. I also redefined my one-on-one body positioning and movement.
Secondly; age plays a major factor in reflex speed reduction. I started doing reflexes training in water as the increased resistance helped develop the reflex.
Thirdly; concentration and mental strength and fitness as you've correctly mentioned. I avoid thinking during games and before games; especially about who you're playing with and who you're playing against. Just take it easy and try to relax. During games; I just keep my mind blank and concentrate on the ball's movement. I also ensure that my eyes are constantly open and does not blink, especially when the ball's coming. I mimic ball movement by attempting to poke my eyes with my fingers and see whether I blink. Off course I don't poke my eyes larr.

I also tell myself to relax and wait for the shots or one-on-ones before I do something. Goalies are meant to react; not act.
Lastly; I constantly revise my movements and gameplay and performance. I accept the mistakes I make and learn not to be harsh on myself and just seek to correct my mistakes or to improve areas I can. Slowly and surely I got back on form.
Take it easy man; it's a normal phase we all go through both as humans and as goalies.
As for the gloves; I'm not sure; but my Lottos do quite well with soap; but after I've not used them for like 10 days; I noticed that they took significantly longer during pre-wetting to be grippy. After that; it was okay again. Having said that; I'll check the spare lotto I keep stored in the cupboard and see if it's misbehaving. I guess where you keep them also plays a part; I keep them in a shoebox in an open drawer out of the sun.
Attached are from left; my x-tenso kontact. As you can see; horrible wear. After 3 sessions of 2 hours each. But on carpet lar. I suspect they'll be more durable on artificial turf and rubber cement. I'll try to test that theory on rubber cement during tomorrow's game. Next; the reusch resistor. This one I find very unique; the wrist strap is a wrap and I think will easily replace the lotto for best wrist protection. Haven't used it yet though. Lastly; the uhlsport x-change lite. I am really impressed by these gloves. The material suggests it'll be quite durable. Haven't used it yet though. I've got gloves surplus currently.

My fault completely though.
Before you think I'm perasan; any comments 'bout my play? Thanks.
