Yes... Finally got my unit of P780 (8GB) for RM830. Got it at Plaza Alam Sentral this evening....  rclxm9.gif

BTW, is it good to repartition the phone? It got 2 partition; built in storage: 2.87 GB, internal storage 4.38 GB. Does repartition it make it faster?

Also, is the stock rom good enough? I nowadays seldom trying this and that on the phone due to work, so i think if anything I want to do on my phone, now is the time (2 days offday biggrin.gif) . Does GravityMod 2.0 good enough or is there any other ROM that good for the long run (due to the lack of RAM sad.gif ) ?

Which shop offer the 8GB?

the original rom works fine for me.

the sd card performance increases after updating to new rom (stock)

well stock ROM is fine but if you can have a AOSP rom is nicer... smile.gif
but i'm happy to live with it at the moment... if we have 2GB RAM this phone is rocking...

problem is file format.
anything connected to it must use Fat32 as android os cannot read NTFS on hdd. to read hdd, you'll have to format it fat32 first.
iphone same story.
afaik usb otg is not related to custom rom orstock rom. it is a feature on android os since android3
Any android device can support otg so long as enough power passes through its microusb

Ok i found out the problem. It is because I have bluestack installed, I suspected this because my rooting via mt6589_rooter was working and when I retry again, it does not work, and give me error "error: more than one device and emulator".
After googling, i found this and bluestack was the culprit : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1639199

After exiting bluestack, the root is working again, so does SP Flash tool, now I am able to flash to S116 successfully.

Btw I am using PdaNetA4126 as my usb driver.

Oh ya, after flashing, for the first time powering on the phone, the booting will take quite a while , up to 5 mins, so be patient, it's not hanging(that was my scare) smile.gif

Hope the above helps, happy flashing.
