Oh i see, pace unit is quite stable after its,launch in 2010.
but it has sluggish interface.
and nowadays many people take superpack because its cheaper and it comes with pvr.

Not really. laugh.gif Which reminds me, i dunno why's my TP (transponder setting) went back to the top, instead of "User defined" one... hmm.gif

I think the hard disk in my Byond PVR just died yesterday.

There was a grinding sound in my Astro, and my recordings under My TV are missing and attempts to book new recordings returned the error message 'Booking Failed'.

Watching live content is fine though, just lost PVR capabilities.

I hard reset and even attempted to format the hard disk, but no improvements at all.

Will I get a free replacement hardware, or do I need to fork out $$? The PVR is only 14 months old sad.gif

Mine was replaced with a new PVR at RM100 instalation fees and new 2 yr contract!! biggrin.gif

Is it a requirement to have a new contract? I am only 14 months into my 2-year contract sad.gif

I certainly wouldn't want to renew my contract just cos of this.

Also, the new PVR you received is the old Pace version or the new Samsung version?

definitely free, if not report to tribunal or bring astro to court because byond is under astro's property
