Fyi. Astro Vellithirai launched on SingTel mio TV today,SD channel.

Can't view the ch as it's not on my pack....have not compared the EPG but suspect it's a dedicated SIN feed.

Confirmed. Also, it's irony how Vellithirai SIN one is in MPEG4, while ours still in MPEG2... hmm.gif

not.. i assume u will get TIME..
just get 24mbps la.. then can boost it up to 30mbps for 30 hour per month and it also unlimited..
not like 100mps where there a quota 100GB where both your upload and download count..

Oh Please !! Its upscaled to HD!! yawn.gif Its rotting since launch! They upscale even black and white movies of the 60's,they upscale the distorted cinema copy from their own library, astro does not hold acess to any real master copies. nod.gif Even Astro vellithirai ,if singaporeans there are smart enough they will boycott and send this channel out like TBO.TBO is another flop like Vellithirai now changed its name to DheeranTV. Many there do not know how worst are asstro channels let them get the taste of it! Cheers!! Vasantham and Vannathirai are fair better!

I read some recent Measat 3a satellite data, and it seems that Vellithirai for SIN one is in MPEG4, while ours still in MPEG2. nod.gif

Actually that is one function of the PVR, when u tune to a channel it will start recording for a certain period so u can use the live rewind, pause funtion on that pvr, u can set the buffer period in setup menu...go read the manual lah. As for the phantom recording, its a known bug, no fixed yet at the moment i think.
