No, Avira. Dunno is it Avira cause after restoring to last known restore point also cant boot.

Now, i cant never boot into windows at all. Safe Mode or anything also crash the system. chkdsk seemed ok but when i try running the PC with one stick of RAM, the PC cant even get pass POST while 2 sticks can. RAM's dead?

if ori windows, can use MSE and enable firewall. consider good enough unless you like to surf tempat pelik2.. :

weird.. if 2 stick ram can do.. should be 1 also can boot.. try to test each ram (one at one time) to each ram slot.. see can boot or not

Found the problem, its because the other RAM stick is in Slot 2. You need a RAM in Slot 1 or 3 to start the PC. Probably not RAM problem now but i think Avira f***s up my entire system with yesterday's update. Firstly, cant connect to internet then now, cant even boot at all.

Cannot on it as my windows 7 still from the bay.

I have ori windows 8 but cant activated it. always fail after changing my mobo.
Anyway still prefer windows 7 than 8. Maybe go back to 8 after 8.1 is release.

Windows 8? Heard that avira have problem with windows 8 for the moment. It deleted certain important windows file.

Maybe after my license over with avira I will try back microsoft essential. Licence until december 2013. When buying avira last time I got a bargain 170 for 5 pc for 1.5 years.

Not yet, after much thinking its better to change my ssd before activated it. Maybe end of this year. before winter sale (to much poison here ) Seems like windows 8 tie to mobo and hdd better safe than sorry since you can only reset your windows 10 times only.

maybe the window is oem version...heard that oem version only activate on 1 computer with mobo registered tied to it
