experiment result: now I have 2 ACII in my uplay account, one is Uplay version (retail) and another one is Steam version. both cannot be installed simultaneously. laugh.gif laugh.gif

if only the put some kind of label for the different version though sleep.gif

just as I said, there are 2 version, Uplay version which is my retail copy (I bought it on release date) and Steam version. Steam version will launch Steam client when click Play on the Uplay client.

Right now, I have the Steam version installed, therefore I can't install the retail version. I can't even launch the retail version.

lol not actually related to my case. I mentioned my retail version cannot run bcoz Steam version is installed. so if I want to play non-steam version, I have to uninstall the steam version and download the non-steam version using uplay.

reason for this experiment bcoz Ubisoft cannot give a firm answer when I asked them about this. shakehead.gif so better do it on my own.
