So many free antivirus around, heck windows also come with windows defender. Buy 5 pack for all pc in my house. Quite cheap

Cannot on it as my windows 7 still from the bay.

I have ori windows 8 but cant activated it. always fail after changing my mobo.
Anyway still prefer windows 7 than 8. Maybe go back to 8 after 8.1 is release.

Windows 8? Heard that avira have problem with windows 8 for the moment. It deleted certain important windows file.

Maybe after my license over with avira I will try back microsoft essential. Licence until december 2013. When buying avira last time I got a bargain 170 for 5 pc for 1.5 years.

Not yet, after much thinking its better to change my ssd before activated it. Maybe end of this year. before winter sale (to much poison here ) Seems like windows 8 tie to mobo and hdd better safe than sorry since you can only reset your windows 10 times only.

I thought since windows xp even retail version will have this problem if you did not deactivate it properly before changing mobo. My old mobo cant even boot up so cant deactivate my windows 8 properly.

Look on the bright side. It happen before winter sale.

For work use cloud storage like dropbox or boxbee. IF anything happen, I can still access it from pc or mobile device.
