Alan Wake that good? For a horror waving flashlight game? Always sees this game go on sales for like 80-85% sometimes.
For me, i liked the game a lot as the game felt very atmospheric to me. There are some parts of the game that make you feel like you are in a dark, cold and fearful place which not many games manage to do that well. Also, the locations of the game is done beautifully with pretty decent draw distance due to enhanced graphics on PC, even for such an old game. The combat is repetitive for some people but I find it alright as it pretty much involves pretty much pointing the flash light at the enemy then, kill them with bullets if not using your flashbang or flare gun.
I think the part that stands out from the game the most was the last 2 DLC missions that made you felt like you are in a horribly warped and twisted nightmare with some interesting mechanics or even fight in a giant twisted ferris wheel. It also kinda remind me of Inception as the movie also have some twisted locations too, except in Alan Wake, you are fighting and running in one.
