I havent even bought it yet.

From my 2 hours in the beta, the RTS bit is quite underwhelming as it plays a lot like older C&C games where you send units to battle and die. There is no actual base building other than choosing what kind of buildings you want on the predetermined socket that you capture. The dragon bit is quite fun, but also kinda underwhelming if you are playing skirmish as the AI doesnt use it at all but this feature will be patched some time in the future. If you want to juggle between both, then you'll have quite a lot to work with. The RTS AI is generally damn brutal though, so its a good thing for comp stompers.

I know the devs are patching this game a lot to resolve some minor sync issue and also fix some of the AI's problem. Heard a lot of good things about the campaign though, as it has interesting characters and actually deal with some more mature issues in a more mature way, unlike Bioware who treats it like teenage drama that they just found out of gays and lesbians today.

I think this game is very much a jack of all trades, master of none from the information I have so far. If you liked RTS, third person flight, RPGs and also RISK, i think its a good buy for the current price.

For now, its a sale game for me cause i got sucked into GRID 1 again.

The career is pretty good, probably the best among all the racing games.
