tires - what brand u recommend ?
Anything but the stock Silverstones. We have members using Falken ZE912, Neuton NT8000, Kumho Ku37 with good reviews. Decent tires for under RM200.

insulflex - this 1 will void my warranty ma ?
If you install in the doors, expect to void warranty on the door components (lock actuator, power windows). But this depends on the SC you claim it from.....some smaller SCs will ignore this mod.

armrest - how much ? warranty got void?
Less than RM80. Plug and play, does not affect warranty.

Auto brake lock how much ? waraanty got void ?
Proton may void your alarm and door actuator warranty, but it is plug and play so you can remove it before service & claims.

Anyway, the few essential and best value for money mods I recommend for every Gaga is

Front and rear strut bars - Less than RM300 depending on brand
Ular Oren grounding cable - Around RM20
Aircon cabin filter - Around RM10 per

The rest are aesthetics and performance mod which are also optional.

Fgh. Just share with you my modding steps. It might differ from others. When I got my car my 1st priority was to improve further the handling. I drove the car as it is before I pin point the weak areas. I started to stiffen up the chassis 1st by installing strut bars. Then I move on to rims and tires. After sorting that out I only went for the engine part. Taken into consideration of practicality. I need mods that not hinder the car from daily use. Hence I only put in a drop in filter with a full exhaust system mod + some DIY.

You need to also upgrade the brakes after the engine mods

guys, thinking to get a new FLX SV and here are some of my queries that i hope sifu sifu can shed some lights on it.

For the fog lamp, can we mod it like exactly on the Executive ones (on and off foglamp on the button)

Electric door mirrors, can this be modded in?

For the rear passenger hand holder on the roof line, can we get original from Proton and just drill it in like that?

Thanks Saga sifus..

Just did a rough calculation base on receipts I collected over 11 months of Shawie ownership. The car I bought was last year 11/9/2012 for RM7000. Repair cost to date RM6635, not include others that I did not obtain receipts doh.gif

I already serviced my GaGa's loan for 1.5 years, another 1.5 years I'm debts free. To date, I spent the most expansive on my GaGa is alloyrim and tyres, which my sawi is going to spend again soon doh.gif

With that rate of reparation for Shawie, 6635/11 = average 600 months. I can get myself a brandspanking new FLX SE no question ask sleep.gif
