QUOTE(Sifha238 @ Jul 31 2013, 03:53 PM) For the here and now, we should buy Fellaini; I cannot understand why we haven't already. We already have plenty of creativity in the ranks; especially when you look at the kids coming through, such as Januzaj and Lindgard, and players such as Zaha and Kagawa feeding the strikers. Bring in Fellaini to play alongside Carrick and to provide the muscle and foundation to allow the forwards to play. I don't care about 'marquee signings'. I just want to see the right players brought in and I would be very happy with Fellaini. Throw in Cabaye and we'll be sorted - imagine in big games playing a 4-3-3/4-5-1 with a midfield three of Carrick, Fellaini and Cabaye; the balance would be awesome |

Supposedly that clause is active until 1st August... so yea, if there is any intention to trigger it, the clock is ticking

Everton would still sell him around his release clause price or even lower bcoz IMO 24m for him is really overpriced for someone who had only 1 great season.
Better looks for someone else better. I think DM will make Fellaini as his last resort option |

He is one of the 'toughest' midfielders in the league judging from his size. I don't really care who wants or who don't want to trigger his clause because they are not United and I do not give two peanuts about what other clubs do. |

Why? cos others think he's peanut compared to other MFs like those MC bought, the more famous, uprising ones who 'have potential'. But I've been eyeing him since few seasons ago. OMG seriously, I envied Everton having him. He is consistent in his work, strong, and gets his job done. and he has an afro. |

If DM think he is that good, he probably Man Utd player by now. |

Is big players from other clubs not interested to join Moyes? Perhaps he's not that convincing enough. can't wait for season start.

Afro can play anywhere in midfield, but i think he is best as a dm. IMO more like a replacement for carrick than scholes. Good in aerial duels, tackling and his chest ability. And he's got quite good finishing. Cesc/Modric + Fellaini
Moyes would have opted to sign him earlier if he wanted to do so. He knows fellaini more than anyone else. But still not his first option. This post has been edited by nshady: Jul 31 2013, 10:26 PM |
