I understand..and I'm one of those picky fella who just wants their phone to be perfect..I try to ignore the gap but I just can't help it..it's not very noticible but it's not even as well..the sides of the phone are a bit rough, the white borders wasn't cut properly..today I'm going to Time Square to shoot them gao gao..

I got the gap issue when purchased the phone. But i didn't realize until i read this forum. It was annoying and felt so sad and grumpy and but later after some times of using it, i started to forget about it because it doesn't really affect my overall usage. Unless the gap is big, i thought was ok.

However, my current situation is unbearable now.


Yeah i am worried too ! Just now morning went to Kelana jaya service centre right before they start operations. I was the first customer. haha and they know who i am also.

So i requested if can get 1:1 exchange because so many times sent in and repair, the phone is getting worse. She is very kind and understanding. Instantly, she said will raise the request for 1:1. Never ask me to send in for repair anymore.

However, my phone has to be left there while waiting for 1:1 exchange approval. Can't guarantee can get replacement cos still need mangement approval. Also can't guarantee that has NO purple issue. She also has the same phone with same purple issue and not yet get replacement cos dunno which batch is flawless. HTC still no news in regard to this matter ~~

Haih.... next quarter HTC sure show big loss if this continues

HTC really should fix it instantly, this give bad image for HTC as they are "quality build".

anyone here can help me to unroot back my htc one to current stock?

went to senheng since they phone me that i'll be able to do a one to one exchange, however, when i check the new set, there is bigger problem (photo below), i tried to shoot a photo in dark place (i capture a photo in my bag), it show some purple red at the for edges of the photos

although the new set is brighter than mine, but i didnt do the exchange, now wait for the official update or news. the guy said they will not open a new set for me since once they open a new set, they cant sell it anymore, they try to contact HTC SC in penang and arrange a new lens for me

Sorry for you..... I wonder if HTC Taiwan found the root cause and come out a tip to solve this issue..... gonna dig around their site already...

Workers there say help me arrange "fast" repair see how, lol, haiz, maybe wait for months then see the new batch of lens got problem not. Someone got the purple red on the camera too even sent back from repair, just blaming myself that didn't do research when buying this phone, haiz

Should i root htc one?

I just want to use htc logo as button
and get rid of annoying purple tint...maybe if use custom rom can fix?

Dont care bout the gap.. But the purple tint is really a big problem..
How can i test how good is the camera in lowlight if it stays like this
