Just sent to SIS in kelana jaya during lunch time.
RM544 for the front piece including the screen and the speaker. I've told them phone cannot charge this morning and volume down button has sunken in too. The customer service rep said will need to get it inspected and then call me up for exact quotation. Omg This post has been edited by cleoleeps: Jul 30 2013, 02:40 PM |

QUOTE(nuttyking91 @ Jul 30 2013, 02:55 PM) Called to SIS and was told RM544 in total for all repairs including screen, cannot charge issue, and down volume spoilt.I was asked to make payment first before they start doing the repair. I asked them repair roughly take how long, well the call centre guy told me perhaps a week? well i wonder if they have stock in the first place. A week look like too positive? Ok the point is i need to make payment (dunno the account yet, not yet send me details in email), then send them the payment slip through HTC malaysia > Support page > Email. This email is web format. Wonder if this is correct? |

QUOTE(kingsora @ Aug 1 2013, 05:23 PM) Go here: http://www.htc.com/sea/contact/email/It's web form of sending "email". I thought really have email address. The term they use is quietly brilliant lol What i meant was that wondering if that is the correct way of making payment and replying back to HTC about the proof. I don't even get a black and white about the quotation. And wonder that submission of payment proof through website will work. I sent email before using that method but no response at all. Damn i so miss my HTC ONE! Sent in for screen crack repair since 30 July until now! SIS service is shit.
Was told they finish the repair yesterday. But now almost 5pm already nobody calls up for collection or whatsoever. I asked if can go straight to service centre tomorrow but the call centre agent still said probably someone will call me up for collection tomorrow. What kind of service is this? Never get a chance to fully enjoy the phone. Just 2 months old |

QUOTE(aH wAi @ Aug 14 2013, 06:52 PM) Guys, any idea how much to replace the crank screen? The LCD mechanism looks fine, or it have to replace the whole screen like iPhone and other devices? My screen cracked (dropped it) and had to pay RM544 for the part which includes the screen and the speaker as well. |

Ok previously i posted that my screen cracked cos i dropped it accidentally.
Bought on 25 May. Sent to SIS in kelana jaya on 30 July and yesterday 15 Jul could only collect it. Nobody calls me up for collection. I chased them everyday to get repair status by calling their service hotline, and was told that someone would call me for pick up, yet none. SO i was just lucky to be able to collect.... 2 weeks to me is too long cos we use phone everyday how to be without phone for 2 weeks. Anyway, the main point is after collecting the HTC ONE, pics below here shows the problem. Their repair skill is kind of out of my expectation for premium phone like this. Heartbroken ! Additional crack at the side?!? ![]() Glue came out from the gap ![]() So just let you know, if nothing bad, dont go service cos the phone will never look like the same premium feel anymore. Note: I requested them to fix the problems. THey said will change the housing. Ok i'll see what my phone may turn up. Sad for my new phone became like pasar malam handphone. By the way, a side note, my friend who got HTC ONE already went to tribunal with SIS. Got full refund This post has been edited by cleoleeps: Aug 16 2013, 03:13 PM |

QUOTE(metalgearash1987 @ Aug 16 2013, 03:08 PM) Hmm.. I still remember the guy there said 14 days still can replace 1 -1. Sorry to hear that bro. But what do meant by this ya: I think it means with the service ticket with RMA and the date, it shows that you are still within 14 days which eligible for 1:1 exchange ~ If you only go requesting for 1:1 after your trip, that will be out of 14 days already. Make sense?"So they gave me this Service Ticket copy for RMA and said that I can still request for replacement afterwards" I've heard alot of users complaining about the aftersales service. That is what i have told the guy at htc as well. I have also read about that HTC One is almost impossible to repair as the aluminum body of the phone is solid. Huhu. I really3 hope that after they open my phone, they can pasang it nicely and touch wood that everything will still be working and look fine on my phone. Pray and Hope. |

QUOTE(ace-user @ Aug 16 2013, 04:50 PM) Ya meh, this is (1800 88 9855) call centre only la and they don't sound like linked up well to service centre. Why? because they can't provide the instant status from service centre. I asked them about repair status, what they told me was "oh still repairing based on last week status." Come on, last week ? :SQUOTE(ace-user @ Aug 16 2013, 05:50 PM) Mine is brightstar unit..I wan to call TS because I want to make sure if they have ready stock..if they do then I can just straight away go there and ask for a one on one replacement since my unit is just 5 days old.. Dont be silly that they will replace on the spot. They will still somehow check here there first before 1:1 to you. Means that you have to leave your phone there for a few days for diagnosis. My friend thought like you too and then ended with no phone. Was offered NOT Smartphone as backup but that's silly :SThis post has been edited by cleoleeps: Aug 16 2013, 06:09 PM |

QUOTE(epsilonphi @ Aug 16 2013, 06:11 PM) I went there to ask for a replacement unit ma, no on the spot change. They have to send in your phone for inspection, they might just loan you a "normal phone" (quoted by the person). They say it would take 3-5 working days, but I'm not sure whether can take their words for it or not. 3-5 days to diagnose what happen and quote you, or tell you what they gonna do with it. Definitely NOT fixed by 3-5 working days |

Btw, do u know if they check the bootloader for root status? if ur repair involves only hardware, i dun think they check root status. Correct me if im wrongLuckily they gave me a windows phone that can check email and do stuff my htc can. If not sure as hell susah mau keje. I could still bear with the volume buttons but the power button i can't feel the bump when my finger ran across through the top. Can still power on/off the phone but much much harder. Imagine i use power button more often , to power on/off cos i dont use app to do so. It's almost like the case of sunken power button issue that worldwide users reported. SIS told me it's within their specs after went into the back checking with engineer. I sat there for long time hoping they could do something. The agent finally said will send in for supervisor see how it goes. So i have to leave there for unknown resolution huhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhu how to accept the "within their specs" when i initially bought the phone without this problem? QUOTE(kingsora @ Aug 19 2013, 05:48 PM) Yeah seems like the buttons come with the "defective and yet within their spec" housing mold. I bought it like end of May and had no such issue but the newer part quality seems to deteriorate. My friend got HTC one back in early July and with sunk-in power button. QUOTE(metalgearash1987 @ Aug 19 2013, 11:27 PM) Golly, 1st few paragraph look like good news, towards the end same old news. Sigh. They never tell how long and I'm thinking to drive there(kelana jaya SIS) later during lunch. I will give them two options. Fix the god damn sunk in power button or i go Tribunal. My friend successfully did that as mentioned earlier.Sorry about your phone bro. I feel u man. How long do they say have to leave it there ya bro? Just make that power button higher by 1mm a bit la adui... is that so hard to fulfil customers rather than just piss us off with 'within specs' quote. |

QUOTE(jeffreyp @ Aug 20 2013, 11:32 AM) They need to diagnose your phone first then only decide what part to order. It's not like u tell them what part to order or what issue you have and they will follow. They have protocols. So it means first few days to be in service centre for sure. But no harm to ask them if can take back phone while waiting for part to come. I think should be ok |

Don't ever send in for repair la. It's a nightmare. I collected my phone just now with the power button issue remained unresolved.
To further worsen the case, the speaker now has crackling noise when playing music even when incoming ring tone. This is insane! I couldnt test the speaker on the spot cos battery totally flat. I thought shoulsnt be a prob. Mana tau problems come after one another. I'm gonna waste time and money to kelana jaya again for dunno .5th time , really super Quietly Brilliant. I'm gonna ask for 1 to 1 new phone exchange already. Takboleh tahan!! Also I just found this repaired one has purple screen when taking photo! I met a guy with HTC black. Exchanged 1 to 1 but keeps having same gap issue with new phone. His prob since mid Jul. Salute him to have that energy. This post has been edited by cleoleeps: Aug 28 2013, 07:03 PM |

No purple thingy or power button whatever....i went back to senQ today and the guy say it is normal, cant one on one change only repair, really behsiok. is that possible to one to one in senQ ? I capture these photos in low light, "yellow light" in my room and it shown purple red in the middle of the photos HTC, go bankrupt la with this quality and service |
