Doubt ikea can transform the area.. how to remove those low cost apartment, nt well maintained houses all??

Apparently, this mytownz struggling to get fashion tenants cos of the surrounding area/spending power etc..

here 1.3kpsf need tropicana garden type advertising to sell any units.. So far1mbd has proved NOTHING & remains a project that might not make it as they will not get any more loans from all those banks that they almost defaulted on.. Apartment facade also not nice & looks high dense... doh.gif doh.gif doh.gif

Yes mid high end looking apartment but ultra luxury pricing... i think rental sure cant cover n appreciation will be limited with high potential of correction at these prices...

The planning is ok but i feel that the mid cost apartments blend well in and doesnt give the pandan/maluri feel.. if u look at wikimapia, one side of this mutiara 482 will be EXTREMELY CLOSE N FACING the PPR (perumahan rakyat).http://landbar.com/img/uploads/condos/L/8/9/Q/5/q/photo_800/ppr_laksamana.jpg

KD and MD almost started fr zero. Cochrane is more on refurbishment or touch up or make up.

KD and MD success kenot b measured with Cochrane future just bcos of Ikea or any other malls there.

Agree! So...if you use MD as benchmark, this one is not expected to better than that...you can then get a gauge if this is worth the hassle (and the 1.5k)

A simple and smaller comparison in size, Uptown Damansara. Look at how SHC revamped it and how much effort was put into it and til not stil effort putting in. SHC bot over many old shops to make sure the area is looking gd later on.

Anw, purchasing power is again another concern tat make both the comparison retart.

What kind of good feel? Ikea will bring crowds weekdays and weekends

If you are not buying furniture every week, you would be bumper to bumper with crowds. You better pray residents and malls crowds are having dedicated ingress/egress.
