EU & NA server are situated in Montreal, Canada. Meaning that the Tag EU is just recommended for EU players to flock to instead of being physically in EU.

NA&EU : 199.91.189.21
JP : 124.150.157.36


MOST LYN members are playing in JP server.
Most Oceania/SEA English SPeaking players stay in both Tonberry & Masamune servers.
In FFXIV is the ONLY GAME that has IN-GAME TRANSLATOR.

shoji, I think you should put the ping thingy at the front page.. people had been asking about it and you need to type it every time.. why dont you just put it at the front page so everyone could just refer there easily..

The more I research, the more excited I am...I think this MMO has some of the very best mixture of good features...the FATE, Duty Finder, Cross-class system, materia, housing, and now even the crafting & gathering sounds interesting to a craft-hater like me...

It seems that I'll have to make two major decision:
1) Race
2) Grand Company

For Race, it's more about personal preference than anything, so I won't bother to ask anymore...

But Grand Company...from what I read, potentially become an important factor in PvP...and if a game has PvP, I'll definitely want to take part in it

Since I am going to play on Masamune, I don't wanna end-up choosing a Grand Company, and found that I am the only LYN folk playing in it, and can't communicate properly to pull off any PvP effort.

So...which Grand Company you guys will be playing?

Also, one important question: how will the choice of Grand Company affect your character progress (except the PvP part which I already know)?

PvP in FFxiv has been reveal a little but not much

We know that there will be two type of PvP

One is called Arena dubbed Wolve's Den
Is a 4v4 or 8v8 battle

Another is massively pvp for now called Frontlines

RvR tpe so far we heard but nothing is concrete yet and how lol

Now only can dwnload the launcher,actual file dwnload only available on 15th

yea i mean download launcher lol
