Vios - New outlook but a bit old tech City - More comfort IMHO but more expensive Jazz - More specs but less space All cars have its pros & cons. Take the best for you and stick with it. |

Vios is the most cost efficient car you can buy in Msia. U drive for 5 years maybe can re-sell for a profit even. |

We didn't hate vios but we hate the company just reskin the old Vios and put in new skin. Pratically no new features added and then increase the price like new car and new features.

I think City and Vios is really too close to call with the exception of rear legroom which is in City favor (not sure about recent model since my memory still in those pre 2010 period). Prefer Vios over City for comfort, cheaper parts, and being durable whereas City has better exterior and interior (perhaps), but dislike the firmer suspension and harder seats. the only difference between vios and proton saga lmst is 1.5 vs 1.3. the rest all the same to me. design is the same, plastic interior the same...maybe meter position a bit different. but for that extra 200cc you need to fork out 40k more! so if it was me to choose, i'd buy two saga different colors!
ok, to the TS, get that Jazz! 75k with VSA is very worth it. nothing in the range comes close. |

I prefer altis/ accord than to a vios. Rear seat super cramped and small.

Malaysian buy cars by looking at the outlook, features and safety and performance always come later.
if i have the money, i will choose a better safety and performance car 2nd hand car, its very affordable nowadays. reliability always relate to maintenance, if you seriously maintain your car, it can last 20 years if spare parts still available. vios and city are those car always in my rejected list, its a truly overpriced compact car, features wise couldnt catch up with korean cars, not to mention the safety and performance, its a compact car. as for newly launched ckd Jazz, a very good price, out of 3, Jazz is my choice. |

My fren family was the happiest of all...... My fren drive Vios, sister drive Myvi and mom drive altis while dad using Camry. Their Grand father using Innova and grandmother using Unser..... My fren son just recently got licence and father just got him a Yaris! What a perfect family

Wira is indeed a truly satisfying car for most of its owner in some ways or another. The aircond and driveshaft for example never crap out on me, in the 7 years of owning it. Its just a personal preference on what you view is the most important aspect of a car should be. My 7th year vios aircond seriously need a service but does it make it suck because it had to service after 7 years as opposed to the wira which never needed to? NO! Vios also just changed CV Joint in its 7th year while Wira still maintain the original one, it sucks? NO! If you think price or brand is the better gauge than user experience, then you are just a fanboy. My vios immobilizer changed not once, twice, but 3 times due to engine off while driving. The first time I complained about it, Toyota didnt even give a shit about it. I drove back and experience a couple incident in the same day. The next day I walked into Segambut branch and ordered the manager to come out and insured my life because I dont feel secured driving it. Then only he promised to get to the bottom of it and suggest immobilizer change. Not long after, a recall was issued for all Vios owners. Does Toyota make better cars than Proton? Its yes and no, depends on your view. Just ask VW owners what they are feeling like when their so-called Continental car being towed back just because of issue with its DSG gearbox. Some will say, its too new, while some will say what shit they bought for 100k++. |

I have nothing to complain on Preve rm70k ++ with turbo and etc.... not bad for the price for a play car.... well something had to start somewhere, you cant expect Vios Turbo at below 80k hahaha so far there is no Turbo cat on toyota low end yet but u can always BOT... buy J series and BOT... there u will have more fun than driving in full retard mode!

Used lgt bar from chop shop I think not from the version u mentioned about 50kg de, maybe from msia spec lgt too but the boss said they bring back from japan de la. Lighter version metal bar I could get it easily from parts shop.

Honestly who would buy a lancer or civic when toyota vios can guarantee a drivers satisfaction to they limit at extend by its proven chart.
