When a sport car met a super car its normal.
So its normal also ppl said proton is junk car when comparing it with sportcar.

Whatever people say, the oldest Vios '03 1st batch with jerky gearbox is still in 1 piece today with low maintenance. Its gearbox is still in running condition.

City '03 at the other end is already highly worn out and some would require overhauling. City's CVT gearbox if anything gone wrong, how many workshop can fix? Can Honta SC overhaul the CVT gearbox? Back then, when wrong ATF was used causing steel belt dislocated, they were unable to fix the gearbox and unlucky owners have to wait few weeks to get brand new CVT gearbox from Japan at more than RM11k.

Can't deny the Vios dugong is ugly. The new Vios 2013 has more proper look and it doesn't feel underpowered compared to City that is a bit sluggish when loaded. Despite what people talk about Vios, it's holding the FC king title and over long term, it's RV king defending title while City '03 RV has weakened.

Could be improved suspension? Altis FL '10 has revised suspension and increased in kerb weight compared to Altis '08. Handling improved in FL Altis '10 over the Altis '08 but because of new dual VVTi engine, the FC and strength also increased.

The new Vios, Toyota already have dual VVTi 1.5L engine. Since Toyota will only give more ingredient if their sales is affected by competitor, else, they would pretend dunno like Camry '12. Since its sales not as good as older Camry '07, they might be willing to give new 3ZR-FE 2.0L dual VVTi engine + 6AT in the new FL or redesigned Camry.
