I guess the cheapo like paper wrappers is a way to keep the phone cost lower. I do hope SE will start something like Nokia. An online check for batteries with some unique code.

my AP w800 from COMSAT also has the 'so called' original marks from the first page of this thread.

just got an original k750i.

got midland sticker on the battery as well..but its the same as the fake ones at 1st page.
the performance of the battery is terrible!

since, i have midland warranty card, can i get a replacement or etc or serv.centre or such?

unless u have proof to shows it's a fake one... or else u can never get it change in service center.

battery manufacturing may make it different. please do not use this thread information as ya judging conclusion. take this as your reference. do not make yaself panic or confuse.

hmm, u mean if i can prove that my current battery is fake, then those from serv centre will replace for me? sounds like even them doesn't have the expertise to differentiate them huh..its like if they like u, they replace for u..

Could be using cheaper material,Sony could save alot if the cost of every battery could save 1dollar.
Example: Sony sold 100,000 phone means they could save 100,000 dollars!

Recently Dell recall thier laptop including Latitude,Inspiron,Precision,and XPS model because of batteries could be explode as long as 5minutes and turn into fire.
Guess what,those battery are from Sony.

I want to remind who reading in here,Made in Japan doesn't mean it is better. Made in China doesn't mean it is low quality. But made in Proton then I have no comment.

So fake stuff printing it is made in USA or Japan,no matter of what it say they still is fake,lower quality,danger..could be.

got muh W810i on merdeka day and just came across this thread today... muh battery is exactly the same as those on the 1st page labelled as midland set...

Any real way to see which one are original or fake? Since some user in here are getting the fake one even when they bought from Midland, like what the first page stated.

As for me I got the original look alike one from the first page stated, and I bought AP set.

you are supposed to get the original battery in the first place.. as AP set's are supposed to come with all the acc's as the original's..

I guess, but my point was, mine is AP set, the seller would have change the battery to a non-ori right?

yup he could.. but i guess he didn't.. some AP distributors do not wan to cheat consumer's..

bro fulat wanna ask..my batt relly look as the ori midland but the diff is at the bottom of the batt i only got one hole which is at the center instead 2 hole..

hmmm.. imo, i think your batt is a fake one.. cuz if they did not manage to copy the whole thing properly, it's a fake..

Actually the battery are differ from one batch to another. There is no 100% same as what mentioned on the first page. Once they are stamped with Midland sticker, no matter what kind of battery of it, Midland will take responsible for it as Midland is not the maker of the battery while Sony Ericsson is the maker of the battery. So the distributor have to take whatever provided by Sony Ericsson
