why? is everyone else not getting ori stuff, i got the phone myself wan, my friend order through his shop and i just go collect ... only complain is the bt earset, like shit ... and no charger wan

cause the battery comes with AP set are different from yours, your battery is orignal MIDLAND or T-CHOICE set battery. the earphone really sucks right?
but why don't you try changing the earbud to other better earbud? i did that to my HPM-70 too, changed the earbud to my EX-51's earbud. it helps to increase the bass level and isolation level a little bit, which makes the earphone at least value a bit more. laugh.gif

i think the hpm-70 is ok for me, for some free time in the lrt listening only ... dangerous too, when crossing the street or walking canoo use, cause cannot listen anything else besides the walkman

the conclusion is, Sony Ericsson products are hard to find whether it is a fake or not. They should start something like online code tracking similar to Nokia.

Another twist to this discussion. My Midland K750i battery is exactly the same as this. Even had a midland sticker at the back. I got this from BBS. The hp seller sure didn't change a single thing cause he is my friend and he brought me to BBS to get it.

This makes it three supposedly 'fake' Midland battery here di. I think that is too much of a fake Midland batteries going around.

My guess is, batteries come from different factories and countries, and probably different factories and countries use different designs and materials. It seems that all the Made in China ones is what most here agreed to be the real deal and the Made in Korea ones being the fake?

I guess the info on the first page should be revised as there are a few inconsistency to difference between real and fake.

And from lots of posts here, no one really knows the exact way to tell.

As for battery life, I used mine for an average of two hours of talk time per day. a few sms here and there, and lots of MP3 listening and it can last me two days.

I also leave my phone on 247. I think this is should be the performance for an ori battery right?

My friend bought his Midland set last month. Look at the battery! It's a 06W04 batch.

The wrapping isn't metal and on the top part of the back, there is no < > on the top.

Is our AP battery actually Sony Original?  laugh.gif

my mid-land set also looks like this, the battery also frm 06W04 batch, is that fake battery?

Anywone even bother reading what I wrote? There are like 5 people here now with those supposedly 'fake' Midland batteries.

The way I look at it, that is a bit too much of fake batteries going around in Midland phones.

I think it is more like the difference between Korea production and China production batteries.

Yeah, some shops con buyers even if it's a midland set, they change their batteries, and change replace with a midlands hologram sticker.

That would have been the case if I buy from shops but I didn't my friend brought me to BBS to take. Straight from the dealer.

If you guys look properly, all the Korean batteries looked like the 'fake' one and China batteries looked like the 'real' one.

Actually, after coming across my friends who recently bought original K750i and w800i, their battery is just like fake one, but with midland hologram stickers.

I think the trend has changed.

I think now there is no way to tell whether one is real or fake.

maybe the later batches midland phones comes with lower quality battery packaging. So long as u hav midland sticker and purchased from midland authorised dealer and got receipt and warranty card, u are safe.
