Thanks all for your advise....after i follow wilsonjack,waveweaver,kurtcobain advise, my phone IMEI is back to normal but the main problem which is "emergency call only" havent be solved =.= did i done it wrong?

Thats weird , all same with mine . Did you try with other sim card or phone?

Did anyone backup their EFS here? I read from a lot of sources and it is very important that we backup our EFS if not we might risk losing the most fundamental functionality of the phone which is the network connection.

yup...ytd swap my sim card with my sis....my sim card function well in her note 2 while her sim card in my phone show "emergency call only"

its very easy to make EFS BACKUP just use philz recovery custom backup n u can restore it too with eyes close...

u should try this
Open your phone’s dialer and type the following code
with your device IMEI number: *#272*IMEI Here#
choose xme and install...it will factory reset ur phone and
reboot

If you root your phone then you need efs backup.
If you on stock phone..there's no need to have one..provided you do any updates using Kies or OTA only.

Try go into 3e stock recovery and wipe data and cache.
