i am really wondering how is this so.
cause i am the living proof it works with 1440x900 with everything max.
so far no lag at all.
fps counter using fraps is always at 60fps.

hmm maybe i havent gone to the bigger map or is it because i am running on a overclock cpu 24/7
or he is playing at a crazy reso??
i just off the sli and tried

Hi dude, just wondering how do u get ur validate column that one? With ur specs inside all those. Oh ya, ur processor running at 2.4ghz tat one, issit overclocked? Or u really bought th 2.4ghz? Wah, really? U planning to get a quad core? How much is the price? Btw, just wanna know, is there really a big difference between resolution 1024 and higher than 1024? I ran this test on my E6300 1 gig pc800 Geforce 7600GT, and it says I need to set it to medium I guess your RAM and your IMBA 8800GTX makes a world of a diff.

I think he oc it to 3.9ghz. Quad cost is at RM3.8k.

after seeing cstkl1 result, i think i will forget bout this game for now....
wait till quad core price drop to current dual core price and multi core cpu out...

well will test x6800 and qx6700 when i get the stock.

My Rig is X2 3600+, 1GHz RAM and 7300GT GPU on Viewsonic VG1930wm (1440x900).

Play SupCom @ 1440x900. I did not set everything max on the eye candy front, but still pretty easy to look on the units and terrain. In the final scenario on UEF campaign (unit cap 500) when been bombarded by AEON and (forgot name), framerate suffer. Even if I tone down the AI to easy (reluctant to tone down the eye candy further), the FR still suffer.

Despite all that, I enjoy this game (just like i enjoy TA). The pity is I can't play the really big map in skirmish mode and expect framerate to be smooth.

higher res. more detail.. more processing power needed by cpu and gpu.


hmm still wondering how to slaughter this game.

the prometia mach 2 i had to put on hold.
