this game seriously need dualcore more than 1GB ram or decent card

upgrade proc>>ram>graphic

play the demo but at the end of campaign1, slow to a crawl. only build around 600 units plus 200 units sweat.gif of opposing sides...

Eh? Its an RTS first and foremost. That's the gist of it really.

Your question is kinda vague. Yes, its a "standalone" game, but yes there's also an online ladder system. The two things you mentioned aren't mutually exclusive (And for any RTS to succeed now, an online ladder is a MUST now)

Anyway, there's a localized version that costs RM80... Not sure if its available yet.
*
it's rm75 if not mistaken drool.gif

but too bad my pc suck (actually my cpu)

anyway, it's available probably next week

fcuk man! this game really pc power hungry monster! I got p965+intel 6600 + 8800gtx 1280x1024 with all graphics candy turn on. in the begining smooth as hell but late in the game lag like no tomorrow played skirmish with 6  computer with sumpreme ai. wah once late in game really fcuk up the game cause its like 10fps.

man I sure hope it will be smooth when I turn off all the graphics candy cause no time to try it now...
*
you expect too much from your pc. problem not with your graphic card (at 1280*1024) but your cpu. 6 supreme AI plus various physic calculation will make ur cpu kneel. try reduce number of AI. reduce graphic setting might help a little since u still running it with DX9c (no way running DX10 currently) even though u have vista+dx10 card

Actually, the unit AI takes a lot of processing power as well. Just try this:
Build as many units as possible and then ask them to stop whatever they're doing. After that, select all units and give them a formation move order to one place... Watch the slideshow begin tongue.gif
*
on my current pc, they hesitate to move... after waiting 2-3 secs, they decide to move, slowly...

number of units: 150.

main cause: dust trails each unit make when moving.

Anyone found a Cayber Cafe with Supreme Commander installed in it and be able to support it?

Id love to have a LAN party with some friends to play sup com.
*
this require some high modal lol. most cybercafe only equiped with 7300 or 7600 series with a gig of ram. can play at low+med setting but will still face slowdown if many people playing

@Cheesenium

my single core 3000+ (overclocked to 2.5Ghz though) play it nicely even with most graphic setting on high. no lag until 1000+ units. try new patch, improve performance a lot.

i just try this game last weeks after trying the demo months ago. huge improvement in performance thumbup.gif

is't SupCom natively support multicore? why need additional patch?
