Just played the first few missions, got my game yesterday. Laggy when using dual screens on my system.. maybe I need more RAM.. or a better CPU.. overall its fun.. After installing the game, make sure you all update the game through GPG Net. Quite a few updates which were important.

i'm using a P4 3.0Ghz 3 yr old machine too, and it does lag like crap when theres many units. I think need quad core for a smooth gameplay.

Well, I'd love to play with you, but I'm not free tonight.

Anyway, don't worry about the game lagging and all when playing online as the game compensates it by slowing down instead of turning into a total slideshow.

azxel: Yes, I too am quite newb at managing resources... My friend who had it a week before I did, was so good with resources that he could get a Monkeylord out in under 30 minutes.

Is the 3D aerial dogfights of Total Annihilation retained in SupCom? Haven't played any RTS which require skilled mouse-command air combat since TA tongue.gif

Miss those days, massive aerial skirmishes on multiplayer just for the fun of it.

Yeah they are and they look better than ever since planes now fly at different altitudes.

Plus, they even work with formation movements which makes it look even cooler.

I am not using windows vista to run this game , my motherboard is dfi infinity nf4ultra. using onboard sound, i google and found out there is issue with onboard sound. so i guess i had to try resolution like update the sound drivers and adjust speaker setting in control panel to solve it.

About the sound thingy I had the same problem but figured it out. Guys you need to download the latest DX9.0c. I think the latest one was Feb 2007. Cause they have extra .dll files and some added DirectXsound file. Cant remember what its called. Start with X one. Haha anyway once I updated the latest DX9 then the sound came back on. However you need to remove the game and reinstall to make it work once you patch it.

Running it smooth and perfect on my PC. Woot nice nice. smile.gif

Cheers!
