personally like matte , on zenbook prime or Samsung series 9 , the matte screen is superb too .

Why I like matte :

1) NO!! reflection
2) Smoother surface
3) Less visible dust (I hate to see dust on my screen)
4) Confortable to my eyes (this depends)
*
1. good quality glossy no reflection also
2. not understand this... you say like this because is easier to clean?
3. less visible dust = dust still there = because matte screen less crisp... so not so visible...
4. agree... depends on individual...

but i agree your Zenbook UX32VD got wider viewing angle and better outdoor performance... because i also have zenbook prime ux31a (my gf using)

regarding the first question . u ll definitely get reflection on glossy display , no matter how top it is smile.gif especially in outdoor , or in a light indoor living room . (just the better the lower the reflection , some manufacturer may uses a darker surface for the glossy screen to improve the reflection issue)

the screen is still crisp , still , yet , I agree it is not as crisp as a top class IPS . but definitely crisp enuf to judge (for top class matte)

Pretty much these two, since other 15 inchers don't really come with "true" i7 processors (needed for your usage):
15.6"
Dell
Inspiron 15R (Special Edition), i7-3612QM + AMD HD7730M + (1920x1080; anti-glare) + 32GB SSD + 1TB HDD(5400rpm)@RM3199, 8GB, backlit keyboard optional, W8

Y510p, i7-4700MQ + Nvidia GT750M(GDDR5) + (1920x1080)@RM3099[2.7kg], 8GB, 1TB, W8, red backlit, swappable ODD, 120w psu, 2 yrs

THe Dell would give a slighter faster user experience because of the SSD, but it has a slightly weaker CPU and GPU.
The Y510p is superior in almost every way haha, apart from warranty support I guess hmm.gif

* prices in RRP, negotiable
* it might be wise to top up to get on-site warranty support for both the Dell or the Lenovo
*
Thanks for your advice. So is it preferable to go for 17"? If i go for 17" and increase my budget by 1k, what should i go for?

Yeah, no one is denying that man, especially in terms of the screen and also efficiency, but you do realize that the cheapest MBP 15 also starting from RM5.5k?
And the MBP 13 do not have enough GPU juice for proper editing unfortunately
