For buyers who bought or considering Sqwhere/ Dsara Sentral aside the reputation of developers, I think the main attraction is the link to MRT station.

It will be only meaningful to compare the development with direct to MRT station and as far I know, the cheapest psf wise will be Saville Cheras by MKH which selling slightly from RM500psf+.

Anyways got the answer to my own question. Not eligible because technically the SOVOs are for commercial use only even though when they were selling it they pitched it as similar to SOHO. So beware SOVO buyers, there might be a problem later when your tenants want to use it for residential use.

the progress of this Sqwhere is equally slow if not slower than one of MRT link project Ekocheras.

Hopefully SDB will pick up soon since serviced apartment already opened for booking.

I heard from their SA, they would want to build both Sovo and residential and get both completed together, hence why the slowness, but I believe it will be really quick once everything on the residential side is finalize. I don't think SDB would delay their projects to pay their buyers.

I think they still haven't receive the actual permit to sell the service residences, that's why you can only book now but can't actually execute the SPA. The Sovo block will complete first with the serviced apartment about 6 months later (well depending when they are able to start to sell)

Contractually they have until July 2019 to deliver the SOVOs, so the progress seems OK at this time.

Imagine the view looking outside of the SoVo or Serviced Apartment units....

can think from the other way, easy get cheap and nice food, easy get daily foreigner worker for house/office cleaning and cheap price, easy get supplier quote many small factories cheap price also. (or it can be saying it is international zone).

The SOVO is 5 years construction period? Then it make sense for the construction progress assuming also the SPA kicked from DO approval date.

2.5years is not very long but should be sufficient for them to complete whole development. The next door Dsara Sentral the construction progress is much faster.

I'm one of the early buyers where I bought a studio SOVO 549sqft Sqwhere.

Am running a small scale, 3-4 of us, graphic design/advertising agency business home base currently and would be great to move over there once it is ready =) looking at the MRT facilities, it will be convenient to employ people too.

Any SOVO buyers here, would like to know what are some future plannings you guys are looking at for your unit ? Investment (long term leaving it empty), rental market, own stay or businesses (half stay, half business, or solely business) ?
