This Ecosky is complimentary to Fennel. YTL set the tone at 650psf with huge turnout and EcoWorld follow through with even bigger crowd.. and next Fennel 2 will start again and the cycle continues

QUOTE(tangent88 @ Sep 23 2013, 12:06 AM) Actually is opposite the Lake not to close no worry, but seem like only local people know this nia. Something to share too actually that area is a huge sanitary landfill in year 1990- 2000 and the biodigestion still in process and the treated sanitary waste water is flowing to the lake. No worry it is treated to class A as Malaysia waste treatment standard. To be fair, the landfill area has been closed more than 10 years ago. It's now being rehabitated. As such, one can see KiPark is developing the adjacent areas namely KiPark Sri Utara, Laman Residensi, Taman Residensi and Nova. The smell is GONE. These came from someone who stay there for 30+ years in Taman Wahyu. During 1990s, the residents there suffered like crap. It stink during 7-8pm when the heat raised up. Now, please drive there to smell it out...or check it out.I know rumours are flying around. Not sure these are from concerned buyers or competitors or sour grapes. But let's point out the fact. The government is proposing to have incineration plant at the place shown on the attached map. As of now, the site is pretty empty except being waste transfer station. It';s located about 1.7km from EcoSky and about 500meter from Kepong Metropolitan Park and 700m from KiPark. You think this will happen. Some political parties, NGO and residents are protesting heavily. If this happen, EcoSky, LakeVille, Kiara East, Taman Beringin, KiPark, Taman Tasik Indah, Taman Mastiara, SRK/SMK St Mary school, Taman Kepong Perdana, Seri Murni, etc. are all affected. Good discussion from all but let's dig out more fact so that everyone can look at it and make an educated decision. P/S: The earlier map posted by someone was inaccurate. Attached thumbnail(s) |

I cant put up a bet that the incineration plant will not be there. I strongly believe that proposal was politically-motivated to intimidate certain people. There are too many residents in the vicinity....schools, parks, etc......
Maybe it is gimmick like Broga...I want to build there. People got worry. Sell land and house...Then connect group bought and build this and that including Notthinghamy and some new township coming up.... Can one see the trend? "Hari in hantar, semalam sampai" kata-kata si politikus. |

QUOTE(YamahaR1 @ Sep 23 2013, 09:29 AM) These few months, they are doing the road kerb project in which one lane was closed to facilitate their works. Traffic is horrendous. If he did the test during such time, the result is surely kanasai. |

Traffic not tat bad la. The onli setback of having to make u turn to get into KL way is compensated with direct access into tis off jln ipoh / jln kuching.
So no worries bout tis. Some might concern more on the smell but stil a long 4 yrs away. Smell or no smell by 2017, time ll tell. |
