the "30% signup offer" aka "additional 18%" doesnt seem to have any capping on per card-level. just monthly capping.

the card's T&C only stated "SHELL" as the merchant description

NTB need to collect from nearest branch (identify verification); cannot deliver.

just gotta wait cuz they need to call each submission one-by-one

just gotten callback from SCB that one of Shell station that i visited carries a description of "SELECT-SHELL xxxxx" (probably depending on locations) which may not carry MCC 5541 (petrol service station).

It's categorized as food store or something; which is why it keeps missing my monthly petrol cashback for JOP's Petrol. SCB still grant manual cashback regardless.

just be mindful if swiping at Shell stations (not petrol kiosk).

LAZADA is using RHB BANK BERHAD as their acquirer, so most likely their "ON-US" same-day settlement

separately, LAZADA WALLET TAOBAO is using ADYEN MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. instead.

depending on volume, RHB could have "batch" processing all new card applications before sending to card vendor (in batch) to print the cards.
