MCC is eligible, suspect is the description that is the culprit since the T&C spelled out the exact description that is "acceptable"

to add more complication, it seems tng "wallet" also not identified as Online for bonus cashback.

so, i'm also guessing RHB got a funny way to check txn eligibility: MCC > category > description


this may cause tng "wallet" MCC to be grouped first, hence not under "Online"; but then it didnt match description.

yeah cuz their (new) acquirer bank gotta understand TNG DIGITAL's business and assign it properly.

seems the bank assign toll mcc because of thinking TNG = tng card/rfid/toll business nature haha

i guess TNG Digital didnt justify it properly that this is ewallet/digital service provider, not toll service provider

no idea

who knows, different staff handle the campaign vs card cashback can define the T&Cs differently

one bank reduce benefits, another may sprung up with new benefits too

auto, credited on statement date

cashback on statement cycle (with txn posting T-1 day)

almost similar to pb quantum except posting can be on statement date, still can get cashback on that statement cycle.

rhb and affin, txn posting must be T-1 day from statement date. it would fall to next statemetn cycle.
