I find that the weight is kinda heavy but since its a gaming laptop, i took HEAVY into consideration and out of the question. The build is quite good. Solid looking. The keyboard backlit led can be set to 2 contrast by pressing FN+spacebar key. Tried Tomb Rider benchmark. Run on ultra settings. Lowest FPS 14, Average was 21 FPS highest is around 28 FPS. For me its playable. Other than that, mine is the 768p  hmm.gif  i thought Y410p is 1600x900p but nevermind. I can force run this laptop to play games on 1600x900p by editing the resheight and reswidth in regedit.  icon_rolleyes.gif  thumbup.gif
Conclusion:

Pros:
Backlit Keyborad
Good JBL speakers
Haswell i7 with 6MB Cache
Decent GT750M which is faster than the GTX660M

Cons:
Not the IPS screen
Malaysia dosent have the 1600X900p model

Erm.. that 750M which is faster than 660M is it with SLI or not ?
No SSD's
Handrest needs to be cleaned once in a while after playing because the oil from our palm tends to stick there
Side exhaust vents instead of rear vents
Touchpad abit funny

NGFF SSD(next generation form factor) still very new in the market.

Alternatively, u can get normal 2.5" SSD and swap it with HDD. Get the 9.5mm caddy bay for HDD and swap it with ODD. use the ODD as external drive with USB to SATA cable. smile.gif

Wish they suprise us with GT755m(GDDR5) and full HD anti glare screen. brows.gif

Its going to sell like hot cake, pre-order earlier to avoid disappoinment.

what he means is for much years that the GT750M will soon become obsolete for games,
i.e future-proof stuff.

I try my best to explain.

It suppose to fit in Y500/Y400 since no change in design.

Its better to double check with the reseller. u can check with skycrawler or storm88. smile.gif
