i will try to help.
but please dont take my word from it.
1. 50% it will happen. from what i read it might be the person has body charge hence damaged the board.
2. im not sure about lenovo malaysia warranty, but i dont think it would effect.
3. if you dont want to risk damaging your board, better to have the shop do it. if you know the proper process and can be careful as not to accidently tear any warranty sticker inside, you may DIY

Anyone using single GPU Y510p when using LAN cable for internet connection kept on dc or sometimes say the cable is unplug?

Kept on swapping between wifi and Lan internet.... X_X

Hi everyone, I'm very interested in the Y510p. But I found many users complaining about Internet connectivity, I think that's a serious issue and just want to ask if that's a common problem?

-kytz-, I'm actually wondering about the same thing as well. I can't confirm, but upon searching in the lenovo website, I don't think there is.

Just go to the ideapad tab and find Y510p, and Australia is not listed in there.

Well that reall makes me wonder about the "international warranty", it probably works elsewhere but not Australia probably because Lenovo Australia doesn't carry Y510p?

Do correct me if I'm wrong.

Hello,

I am very new to Lenovo. But I really like the Y410p/Y500/Y510P model. The specs are quite impressive. But I do have a few questions:

1) Is Lonovo a reliable brand? I mean, do they last long?
2) Does the Y brand heat up badly?
3) How's the customer service & warranty?
4) Any other issue that I should know of?

Sorry for the million questions. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

how much watts adapter y580 using? if 120w, around rm 160, i heard some shop offer for around 130 but beware of so-called "oem"adapter. Insist that you want original adapter from the shop
