If anyone wants to buy anything from PPC, shoot me a PM within the next few days. I'm helping arrange a shared shipping bulk so if anyone wants anything from PPC, let me know. I don't know when the next round will be.

QUOTE(gxthelord @ Oct 14 2013, 06:20 PM) Hi all wc sifu~~ I wanna ask if I'm going for custom wc my cpu and gpu together is 240mm rad are already enuff? or I need to go with 360mm rad? My Casing is NZXT Phantom 530 so its enuff for a 360mm rad. Just need opinion from u guys. That's a very nice case to water cool in. Very friendly and spacious. Just get a 360 if you can afford it. watch out for the thickness coz otherwise it'll bump into your mobo.

QUOTE(Kwar @ Oct 14 2013, 08:10 PM) guys may i ask, looking to build my first watercooling setup, possibly going for an xspc raystorm rs240 kit (rm499), my question is what casing can easily install this wc kit.currently looking at the cm 690 3 casing for rm320, are there better alternatives or should i just go with that casing, want to setup my wc kit without much mod to the casing. thanks Depends on your budget really. There are many cheap cases that can accommodate dual 120mm fans nowadays. But the ones that do it really well are more expensive. So, what is your budget? QUOTE(Lucassss @ Oct 14 2013, 09:25 PM) Depending on your components and objective. If you're doing it on the cheap then basically any case that can accommodate a 240mm rad will do. This suggestion pretty much backs me up. haha.

QUOTE(tplus1 @ Oct 14 2013, 11:43 PM) havent clean my wc setup for like 6 months.... do i need to be worried about it? water seems clean. If it looks clean, and your temps are ok, you'll be ok.

QUOTE(Kwar @ Oct 15 2013, 01:04 AM) around 300-350max for casin. i just want the cable management to be managable, currently using cm elite431, fits 240 mm rad too at top, but cable managment really lousy one, that's why looking at cm 690 3, size quite nice(quite big), good cable management price around 312 so within budget. cm storm scout 2 also look good one, price 280. but kinda small. later wan mod(add gpu loop etc) no space right? If you want something large with plenty of space and stuff, can consider some of fractal design, bitfenix. I think some of corsair ones do pretty alright. not so sure on CM side though. unequalteck corsair how, can ah? lol Lucassss Fractal suggestion? irienaoki tag you coz you play with too many cases already.

QUOTE(Kwar @ Oct 15 2013, 01:26 AM) ill wait for responses from sifu sifu for casing then haha, btw, my my corsair gs600w psu can 'tahan' watercooling? i look at pics mostly ppl use 700w+ psu, later scare spend so much already then my psu cannot tahan 1 no use also What's in your rig anyway? 600 will work fine, I doubt you'll have a lot of power sucking devices for your water cooling loop at the beginning. Once you start going a little nuts like how some of us have, then maybe you'll feel safer with more juice.

QUOTE(Kwar @ Oct 15 2013, 01:39 AM) well in my rig currently is i5 2500k gtx560(maybe will replace with r9-280x one day) 2tb wd caviar green 4gb ram cm 212 evo 3-4 artic pwm fans corsair gs600w psu well kinda like a basic pc, didn't thought of watercooling at that time. thought of overclocking, then i tried, scare my pc go boom, so just restore to default setting and use for decent gaming(dota 2 league of legends etc etc). after 2 years now only interested in wc'ing. oh you'll be fine with the 600w for now. though when you do upgrade to that 280x, you might wanna chg out your psu to a more reliable one since you'll definitely be tempted to watercool the 280x and max out it's potential.

QUOTE(Kwar @ Oct 15 2013, 01:49 AM) i c, i'll probably buy a 800w modular psu to make my pc more clean looking, (yes have a reason to buy new psu now) , wanna water cool the r9, need new waterblock, wc really cekau my poket like this.Around rm2000 fly out of pocket like that if think again Haha. Consider getting a Super Flower PSU if you want to keep it cheap but good. Super Flower PSUs are available locally already. When you get your R9, pls get a reference so you'll have more choices for your block. Otherwise, if you must, get an Asus DCUii card and nothing else. Then at least EK will have a block for you. Don't count it. You'll just want to at the end of it. haha. Can always buy in stages.

infernoaswen!!! Apparently the MOSFET block for the gene will also fit the hero! EK doesn't have plans for a full cover for you board.
Check out the MOSFET block and let me or unequalteck if you want. I'm ordering from PPC. Teck is ordering from ek direct.

QUOTE(Kentucki @ Oct 16 2013, 05:18 PM) yea, cyntrix dont have stock. currently using the white bitspower adapter (the most expensive adapter) thinking of going full red, if no choice then only go for matt black..also looking for a 90 degree Female to Female adapter to join the acrylic tubing if no choice then might replace it with Q plus fitting connector (which is very expensive ) Bro, can get the red adapters from me. I'm ordering from PPC soon. Can get by the end of the month.

QUOTE(infernoaswen @ Oct 17 2013, 01:05 AM) he left lowyat.net already ever since after that "incident", probably wont be able to get him through PM either. no offense but this thread is kinda boring already, even I also rarely visit here anymore. I am sure most of you regular guys also feel the same thing right? Cant be me alone I think coz nothing really new anymore. Plus wc community locally not that active here.

QUOTE(tonberry_ax @ Oct 17 2013, 04:03 PM) maybe do some gathering or LAN party will help? That would be pretty awesome if not for the fact most rigs are in atx cases or that wc rigs are not completely transport friendly. lol. If someone can figure it out then

Makes me wonder whether the Bitfenix Prodigy M flex feet things can support a fully water cooled rig with all the bells and whistles. Someone should try.

QUOTE(nohal @ Oct 18 2013, 06:46 PM) Checking once a while should suffice. Helping, answering question, asking question, a little bit showing their stuff and such. I'm giving off example, Who's selling corrosion inhibitor? Or it's bad for your loop? Or that's just marketing strategy, you don't need it? Aww, nobody take my question seriously. Rarely see people use or sell corrosion inhibitors any more. If got or want also it's in coolants. If you wanna buy separately, can try automotive fluid section in hardware stores and hypermarket. Your loop having mixed metal issue or something bro? And welcome back.
